Maybe they can steal one in Mount Pleasant.

They came close, falling 65-60 and contesting hard in the second half after CMU built an early 16-point lead right after halftime.

Ferrris got within 61-59 with 26 ticks left before the Chips salted the game away at the free throw line.

Hope mens soccer also in the sweet 16.  Nice showing by the MIAA so far.

Interesting thing the Men’s soccer committee did, they put Calvin and Hope on opposite sides of the bracket. Could you imagine a Calvin-Hope National Championship game (in any sport)?

Also, Calvin's sectional contains a team from MI, CA, VA, and TX. Would that ever happen in men's basketball?

That part of the bracket has been dubbed the "Transcontinental Quadrant" on d3soccer: http://www.d3soccer.com/ncaatournament/2011/men/2011-mens-bracket

With perennial power and #1 ranked Messiah getting the boot in the first round, anything is possible in men's soccer this year!

Hope's advancement in the soccer tournament means they will be 2 more players short for at least this week  (Rochester, Spring Arbor).  Both Logan and Grant Neil are on the soccer team.   Logan was the league MVP for the 2nd straight year.

I'm not sure if the injured players will be available this week or not  (Ray, Overway).  Could be a small roster for the Dutchmen this week.
