No, actually I don't care about karma either.  Just making a point that another Calvin fan has negative karma, which I actually find funny. I actually wasn't being sarcastic! :D

I may be a weird or  totally unrealistic knights fan, but we were supposed to get hammered in the NCAA sectional finals by Albion last year. If the boys play like they did in the 1 thriller this year & the 2nd half of the last game at Knollcrest, anything can happen. If the knights fall, I will be rooting for the Dutch to win it all. However, I have to back the longshot tomorrow night if Calvin is victorious in the 1st game. I may be a diehard knights fan, but I'm not stupid. I'd much rather take our chances against Wisconsin Lutheran!

Way to support the Knights with your prediction.
b]Your true colors show thru once again.[/b] I realize it is wishful thinking on your part, but it will be Hope-Calvin 4 on Saturday night!!!

.......or maybe my opinion of how the game will go shows through.

Sorry I forgot I've besmirched the mighty Knights shame, shame on me for makeing a guess., Calvin by 100.......go MIAA.  I'll make sure to wear my maroon and gold for a couple hours..........then after some industrial soaping I'll don the orange and blue.

......and I won't be disapointed if its Hope/Calvin IV at all

The ladder?  anyone?

Sac,

Don't take me too seriously. Just trying to get you stirred up a little bit. Those who don't follow DIII hoops.com miss half the fun. I do think it's funny though that every single Hope fan already has tomorrow night's game in the win column. Can you say Baldwin Wallace? Or, Kalamazoo in a couple of MIAA tournaments. Or if your long term memory isn't that good, just think back to the 2005 MIAA tournament. Need I say more?

Wasn't Calvin the better team last year? This has come up a few times this season... was it a huge upset? Was Hope looking past Calvin? Maybe I missed something...

I'm missing something ... whining? what?  Looks like some facts with a little joke at the end.

I see Hope-Calvin IV looming on the horizon.  Unfortunately for Calvin fans, if it does happen, Hope is unbeaten at DeVos, and has thoroughly dominated the Knights in 2 of the 3 games this year.  Hope gets two wins this weekend, at least that's how I'm seeing it.

Well, no point in playing the game then, right?

Is  a ladder in basketball ever for anything besides cutting down nets? ???
Wait, dunks are only worth two points?!?!!!? Why does anyone do them? - diehardfan

Right you are then Ziggy... and you have permission to take the rest of the year off!

I also noticed that unique combination.  They needed a league, and our football playing amigos needed a team.  A marriage made in........

i did a search on yahoo for "flying dutch".  came back with:

School in the midwest with lots of runner-up banners

Acutally, if you're speaking of the "Flying Dutch" in the actual team name, please note Hope women's national champ banner from 1990. This is, I believe, one more banner than Calvin's women have.
