Marconi is one of my best friends. Not to try and sound biased but in my opinion Marconi was a way better quarterback than Ragsdale.

CRZK

Ouch!,  CC scores in the 2nd qtr,  21-7 Oxy on top.

CC has some relatively big targets at WR.  Not much D from CC though.

At the half, Army 14 Texas A&M 14!!

Army is hanging tough.  Love it when the service academies play the "big boys" tough

Maybe Trinity is sitting in a cover 2, therefore the middle of the field would be the best place to throw the ball....but a qb still must make the proper throw, and it has to be caught.

Glad to hear that RFB....I have always heard good things about him, and Rags had some serious talent around him....and besides that, he called his own plays!!  I think any qb will rack up numbers when they call call their own stuff.

We had some talent as well. We played out of the gun most of the time. We threw short, deep, you name it. Our offense was unbelievable.

I agree. However, we are all sitting in front of our computers, frustrated and speculating on what is going on. Very ugly and unfortunate for Redlands.

How long ago was this and who was the OC?

This George Foreman kid sounds like a great athlete. Hopefully he gets more time on the field.

My senior season was 1996 and the OC was Ken Miller.

I am a son of the bulldog family...and I hate to pass judgement on the coaches and or the program, but I will say this....Redlands really does not have any guys who dont give a fu$#.  What I mean by that is...the teams of the 90's, early 2000's when I played had some guys who loved contact...and loved to get after peoples asses....now the guys seem soft.  We need to recruit some bad asses who want to cause havoc and destroy people.

Ken Miller was a legend...he recruited me to Redlands...now coaches in Canada.....but he could set defenses up and knew how to set up the big play.

Ken Miller knows defense just as well. He was the Redlands DC my sophmore year in 1994.

He was also the head coach at Redlands...then Maynard took over and coach Miller come back as an assistant.  he may not have been a  great head coach...but he was a great  coordinator
