I don't know if the UR fans have caught how bad things have gotten at UR.  The athletic communications office puts out the worst headlines ever.  Laughable at best.

Last Saturday they posted- "Redlands has strong first half in senior night loss to Claremont."  The Bulldogs scored 7 points and were losing at half.

Against Chapman- "The Bulldogs faced tough conditions and put together a strong second half."  It was raining and both teams had to play in it.  Chapman found a way to score 29 in the first half.

It is almost delusion to what the athletic department thinks is going on with Bulldog football.  Very sad stuff.

I was at the Sports Bowl for the Stags vs Azusa. Stags weren't ready to play at the start and spotted APU 10 before getting their act together. Sports Bowl stadium also wasn't ready to play as the scoreboard, announcers, and clocks died multiple times. Looked like the computer system was glitching. Fit in with the Stags play early on.

After the first 2 drives CMS defense dominated the game. APU is very limited in the pass game and after some early success the Stags shut the run game down too.

Stags offense was streaky which is typical for them. They did nothing in the 1st quarter, looked great in the 2nd, bogged back down in the 3rd, and improved in the fourth. I think this is ultimately what will doom them in the conference title game. To beat Chapman they need the good version of their offense to show up for all four quarters. That hasn't happened often, but it has to in order for them to have a shot at championship.
