SUBJECT: Campus Closing
I am sorry to report that there has been a fatality on the Troy Campus this morning. In order to ensure the safety of all members of the Rensselaer Community and to allow the Troy Police and Public Safety to secure the campus, Rensselaer will cancel all classes and close its offices on the Troy Campus effective 12:00 noon today. All athletic activities will be postponed until further notice.

Only essential personnel should remain on campus. There may be staff in critical areas that will be required to remain. I ask that each Vice President and Dean designate the area/employees that will be required to work beyond 12:00 noon on March 29th. Because this is an emergency closing, administrative leave will apply (i.e. leave granted by the Institute).

At this point, we expect to reopen for classes, work, and other activities on Friday, March 30, 2007. Should this change, you will be notified by your supervisor.

First off, who is walking around RPI strapped?
Second, what is some cat from Mass doing in the Lowe center, in the stairway?  The Egg dropping contest doesn't start until the end of the week.  There are elevators in that building (seeing it is the tallest one at RPI) and noone takes the stairs anyway. (the contest is to see who can drop an egg 10 stories without it breaking....fierce competition)
Third, leaving the option of suicide open even though he was shot and there was no gun found?  Who is leading this Lawyer Gro?
Finally, As grand marshall week many alumni come back to campus?.....Oh yeah.....WHO?  Give me 10 names of alumni that have been back to RPI for Grand Marshalls week in the past 2 years.

Reg wants answers..... am I missing something here?

TDT- Are you kidding Reg?  Do you really think I watch the show?  The other day, it ran late and I was going to watch House...which I didn't know started at 9:07, rather than 9:00pm, because the idol show ran over. 
When I saw the freaking rooster hawk, I just wanted to rip the TV off the wall and break it into little pieces.

Did anyone else notice that the Idols are all like bizarro idols?  I mean what is this the weight watcher edition? There isn't one person out of the group that anyone could market.....Oh well maybe the guy who looks like Tom Hanks in the movie Philadelphia, but other than that they all look like the 400 pound american idol, give or take 100 pounds.

What's wrong with American Idol?  I'm a proud fan.  I watch it every night it's on as I have every season.  THis year is very watered down.  And Reg is right, not a lot of good looking folk.  But let's not forget the lovely Haley Scarnato.  She can't sing worth a damn, but she looks the part, except she has weird boobs...

having been to many sc football and bb games over the last 8 yrs tgp has been able to enjoy the view.  however, imo, the cheerleaders from Oregon are hands down the hottest of all the Pac10.
