RIP Mr. Wizard (Don Herbert)

pour out some baking soda and vinegar... and hold your potato clocks up high. See you at the crossroads.

Nice - I gotta catch that now.  Beach Patrol is one of my favorites.

What day is this on?  JT needs to watch this.  I'm flipping through Court TV.  All the Cops shows are something different.

comcast chatty doesn't have it coming back on until 6/25...

JT found it playing this Sunday on Dolanvision.  DVR record all.  Done.

first poll of the season (I think) out.

Lindy's poll: 1. Mount Union; 2. Mary Hardin-Baylor; 3. Wisconsin-Whitewater; 4. Trinity (Texas); 5. Wesley; 6. Hardin-Simmons; 7. St. John's; 8. Rowan; 9. Central (Iowa); 10. Bethel; 11. Capital; 12. North Central; 13. St. John Fisher; 14. Springfield; 15. Wheaton; 16. Wabash; 17. Wartburg; 18. Washington and Jefferson; 19. Wilkes; 20. California Lutheran; 21. Baldwin-Wallace; 22. Alfred; 23. Hobart; 24. Whitworth; 25. Wisconsin-LaCrosse.

nothing too interesting and WAY too early...but I thought I'd post and see what discussion pops up.

JT - That was going to be my advice.  Usually a couple eps every sunday evening.  The drunks are great...

DVR Alert

Party Police, Court TV (basically cops @ Lake Havasu, AZ)

Herb Alert

Why you should NOT home school your kids

unbelieveable.  spelling bee champ and future sex offender and/or axe murder.

yikes.

He's a mess.

Yeah, the kid's all of 13 years old, and, according to this article, is obviously a real loser and going nowhere:

OxyBob

Yeah but he'll solve global warming in about 15 years.

Before or after he eats 73 people?

Either that or he creates the perfect virtual woman.  He'll probably need it.

EEEEEEEK!
Why does every one of them have the blistery scabs all over their face?  Does meth cause that or just poor hygene?  Or some unrealted disease they picked up "working" for meth money.

JU - Its a little early for that...in the future can we go with the after noon rule for pics like that?  WOW - scary sh*t.

I'm with Reg though, does anyone know the reasons for the scabs/acne?

They think there are bugs on their face, and they pick at their skin.

TGP still gets a kick out of seeing Bart ranked in any polls.

Interesting to see the Alfredos up so high.

TGP is going to make a better effort to see some SCIAC ball this fall.  Both Oxy and CalLu are about 15-20 fwy miles away from the Pumpkin patch.

PBR...

tgp should only take you about 2 hours each way to get there...LOL!!

Actually its because most drug users that get that bad using these drugs (herion, crack and Meth) are so undernourished that their entire health goes downhill.

This must have been a tough 3 years!!!!

Hows your lunch now fellas!

JU - was that link from an email forward you got today? Gro was out with a vendor and he brings up the same topic "you ever see those before and after pics of people on meth?"  gro responded, "yeah, JU just linked some on LLPP, didn't you see?"

then gro realized that the world of LLPP is not for everyone (although it should be).

p.s. If I look at those pictures any more there's going to be some mexican "lunch special #3" all over my monitor.

no kidding.  tgp is still upset that my folks didn't tell me there was such thing as a school like UCSB when i was looking at colleges back in the day.  instead of freezing my butt off in upstate i could have been surfing and hitting the bars on state street!

speaking of pepperdine - tgp used to play in a band with some guys who went to school there.  have played a couple of outdoor gigs there - what a view!!! - is right on (both the ocean and the student bodies ;)
