I just read this, Danny Federici of the E Street Band has passed away after a fight with cancer.

KS, are you behind the HotHuskers banner ads?  They are definitely where LLPP and online advertising intersect!
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

Did LLPP see this quote from Marvin Lewis calling Ocho Cinco's bluff?

"I've stated our case with Chad," Lewis said. "He has a contract through 2011. He's stated without an opportunity to go to a different team and a new contract, he wasn't going to play. I think he's a man of his word and says he's not going to play, so don't play."

I am no fan of the Parcells/Knight coaching philosophy but I am loving Marvin Lewis for this one.  (They also reportedly turned down an offer from Skins that would have sent them two first day picks).

A blurb referencing our friend from the OAC - Tags doubts it will come to fruition, but who knows.

man spring practice keeps getting bigger each year...w/ early enrollees in college etc the interest keeps going up....78,000 at psu's blue/white game last weekend...pbr was amazed in that pbr can remember going to the b/w game and 30,000 showed up and that seemed like alot. now the stadium is 3/4 full for the game. carnivals/parties/tailgates abounded if pbr didnt know better he could sworn it was mid oct.

Amen to that PBR.  Orange and Blue was a madhouse two weeks ago with Gameday in tow.

I think the Gameday broadcast was just a cover for Erin Andrews to run some game on America's QB:

Garcon put up good combine type numbers at his workout.  He ranks in the top 10 in speed, strength and other measurements among all Wr's.

But JT has seen Garcon shutdown by (up close) Rowan and UWW.  JT thinks Rowan Wr's Phil Silva (2005 grad) is/was better.  Silva was taller, faster, and stronger than Garcon.  Silva impressed but didn't make it with the Jets.

JT didn't go but Rutgers Scarlet/White game drew 11,000.  Not too shabby.  For years you could hear crickets chirp.  Stadium is supposed to expand to from 40,000 to 56,000 in 2009.
