What an absolute crazy day! How the hell did RPI lose today? I still am in shock. You know maybe the parity is good for the league as a whole. It just seems to me that maybe the LL in comparison to others is just not strong. I don't know if this is going to be the year we get an NCAA win. Let's go Statesmen! Congrats to the pumpkin heads for the LL title. I thought they were really going to take it to Rochester. I am ****ing dumbfounded today. Cortland getting beat up by Ithaca? I thought that was going to go the other way. I don't know what to say? Anyone having some ideas what some first round match-ups are going to be? Any thoughts on RPI getting an ECAC game? Will they take it?

Congrats to Hobart.  They deserve everything they get. Unfortunately, I don't think Hobart is that strong this year.  Strong enough to win the LL yes...but I just don't think they are that strong overall, and definately not as good as they've been in past years.  Let's hopes today's debacle cause a clustermuck in the East, and Hobart gets a decent seed and plays a team that was questionable to get in...I think Hobart and Plymouth could be a potential matchup.  Here is my prediction:

1.  Mount Union (A)
2.  Ithaca (A)
3.  Cortland (A)
4.  Hobart (A)
5.  Plymouth State (A)
6.  Lycoming (A)
7.  Rowan (C)
8.  Curry/Husson (C)

1.  Mount Union
2.  Ithaca
3.  Cortland
4.  Hobart
5.  Lycoming
6.  Plymouth State
7.  Curry
8.  Randolph-Macon

LD is proud of his predictions...

What if...   :-\

1. MUC 10-0
2. Ithaca 9-1
3. Cortland 9-1
4. Hobart 8-1
5. RPI 8-1
6. Lycoming 7-3
7. Plymouth St 10-1
8. Randolph Macon 6-4

RPI @ Cortland, Lyco @ Hobart, Plymouth @ Ithaca, RM @ MUC.

Good show Frank and RT.  The commish for the NCAA was very interesting.  Seems like there is going to be a serious re-evaluation of the whole system within a decade (regions, conferences, etc.).  Conference shopping and scheduling for a playoff game and all this isn't long-term productive for the institutions.

Cragg is incredible.  I recall being embarrassed to tell him my grades Fr year like he was my father or something.  In fact I had less shame with my parents, until they yanked me for a semester for pulling a B- ish gpa (2.8) Fr year.

Yeah, I'm coming with my wife (and maybe a buddy from here also).  We have to come back to NYC after the game, but probably can stay for a little.  I'll shoot you a message later, I have to do a little monday morning work here and jump off this for a while.

The Rev is not too enthusiastic about Mount Union being in the East Bracket.

The only thing that can be said is that maybe some East team will be the lucky participant in an upset.

The Rev thinks the other round two match-up could be very interesting if it ends up being Ithaca vs. Cortland.  A replay of the Cortaca Jug?

Nope...

You guys better leave now if you want to make it by kickoff

So is this Alfred/RPI game official or what?

Nope...

Logic would have suggested that a Brockport vs. Fisher game would make more sense.

family feud time in the RT household!!!

survey says........

Senor RedTackle

TGP, very true. Since RT isn't playing, this may be the first time ever that pops won't have RPI as his first choice in a game. This game means a lot to RT because pop's health isn't so good and he's making the trip to Troy for the game. First time he's been back since 1994 and not sure what the future holds so in this case, the ECACs give RT a chance for some family time in a circumstance he never would've had if it weren't for this game...football is the catalyst and RT looking forward to it and being able to see Jimmy Robertson play one more time at home
