I think the Patriots will draft Tebow and sign Farve as a backup for Brady.  Then ESPN can just move their studios an hour northwest to foxboro easier.

Ahh, got it.  Couldn't tell if you were a UM fan (I may have called them azzholes about a hundred times in the Illinois game), or hater. As long as your not an Ohio State fan.

HELL no.  Though my roomie walked on for The Luckeyes and was on the team for 4 years   --- so SF loves the agony he sees on his roomie's face when Pryor has killed them this year.  The blow ups following the ineptitude have been EPIC.  I even went so far as to video record one of them.

Keep Tressel in Columbus (game has passed him by) and Btch Rod in Ann Arbor and SF is a happy camper.

Speaking of devil deals... in time one will see that Rich Rod = John Calipari... KY mortgaged their soul for that crook.

So Tommy the Eye Gouger is missing an entire game... because of potential distraction

That's Brandon the Eye Gouger, and frankly, I'd just stick with Mr. Spikes if you ever see him in person.  He could be the most intimidating human being I have ever met.

I'm sure he's big and all that, but I've met Wee-man.  I'm not scared of some gangbanger with speed ---

But honestly JQV --- I'm sure one of Spike's manly sisters (under 16) could kick my arse.

If Richrod pulls another Illini game, this show may not go on much longer. I'm in between, as much as I liked and appreciated Lloyd Carr, thought it was time for him to go, but did not like the choice of RRod. Living in Dallas now, I wonder why the TCU coach doesn't get more love from big colleges with what he's done with the Horned Frogs program. Or the Cincy coach.

Cincy Coach has been courted and will only leave for the following jobs:

Penn St
Ohio St
Michigan
Notre Dame
*RPI

He's said that much since he took the job.

Don't worry PBR.

Brantley is probably a better QB than Tebow even if he isn't the same runner.

I wouldn't be surprised by that.  Tebow is very good, and had a sick career...but he isn't this top 5 player of all time like they make him out to be.  Unless he starts putting up some major numbers, if he wins the Heisman this year it won't be much more then a life time achievement award.

and he's completely wasted all his pub ---- I mean, the guy coulda nailed any female in Gainesville, and hasn't even been in the game.  what a colossal mistake.

not the same leader which will really hurt. think that is the biggest fear factor w/ tebow is his running ability.

I thought Tebow's YPC this year was only like 3.5 yards...

I am beginning to realize how big Percy Harvin was to Tebow...

true...w/ a running qb its tough to account for him especially when playing man coverage running w/ your back turned to the qb and tebow pulls it down and takes off. tebow is a diesel truck when he gets rolling is very tough to bring down. most  def. coord's pbr has seen interviewed would gladly play a guy who they know is going to be anchored in the pocket most of the time. defense can account for everyone then vs. running qb when you have no idea when they will pull it down and run or you have to put a spy on him taking someone out of coverage

Then he'd have to beat my nominations, which are Mike Tyson drunk at a bar in Albany, or Harry Carson drunk at a bar in Pleasantville NY when they used to have training camp at Pace. To the point where, when we saw Mike Tyson drunk, Chief High Socks, Cletus and I made the correct choice in simply leaving. Harry Carson, well, he's just plain mean looking, and even when he smiles, just looks sinister.

I'm not buying it.....Chief High Socks fears no man!!!!

True, but as usual, CHS was fast asleep at the bar, and Cletus woke him up and dragged him out.

That being said, Mike Tyson circa the late 80's was no man, more of a manimal. Now he's just some dude ready to cry on Oprah.

Red Sox fans, when you won the World Series, did it make you want to spend less money so that someone else could win after that?

No, but it would have been more rewarding if they weren't the second highest paying team in the league.

BullDlip

Not really.  I didn't even watch all WS games against Colorado.  They didnt have a chance, and to be honest, the Cardnials didnt have a chance the first time either.  Beating the Yankees down 3-1 was much more of an achievement than winning either of those world series.  At least the Yankees had a great team those years.  The Redsox are expected to be a top 5 team.  THEY CAN BUY THE DAM PLAYERS.  Of course they dlipped up by signing Drew and maybe Dice-K or not signing Manny to a big contract (if they could have afforded it).  But the sox can afford to make those mistakes because they have 150 million dollars to mess up with!  The Yankees have 240 million to mess up with (as they have done with plenty of bust free agent signings)

You're correct that Colorado didn't stand a chance.  Colorado won the NL championship during a winning streak of historic proportions.  Then, Bud Selig told them to cool their jets for 8 days before playing the Red Sox.  They didn't stand a chance.

Interesting - is Susquehanna not eligible for "North" sub-region games?

TheGrove

Susquehanna is not an ECAC member.
