Sometimes The Rev is glad he's not in the USA to watch these TV shows.  Even though The Rev hates them, he feels compelled to watch them in the same way someone driving by a train wreck has to slow down and look for dead bodies.

pbr heard some solid news coming into work today that the fcc is close to having the dvr/cable boxes set so everyone can buy them directly from best buy/walmart, etc directly pay for it once and your done. taking the middle man out of the game like comcast/verizon/att etc. then have it so you deal directly w/ cnn/espn/hbo etc so you pay for only the channels you want and use. not bundle in 300 f'n channels you never watch. same w/ internet you plug the cables in yourself and negotiate your own deals directly w/ stations. probably has some legs to it in that is why your seeing comcast buying up all the nbc's tv stations from general electric. they realize they are going to need addition revenue sources if this is just about a done deal as some are saying. they have been asking the cable companies to do this for years and they balk or drag their feet when they have the ability easily to do so. should cut your cable/dish bill substantially...

Received a call back from the Princeton, NJ regional schools Athletic Director today.  I'd characterize the conversation as very productive.  I'd prefer to leave it at that out of respect for the participants in this situation.

On a side note, the AD's son plays for Johns Hopkins, so he's a fan of Division III football and the D3football.com site.  He froze his butt off at the JHU/Wesley game on Saturday, so +K to a fellow D3 fan.  

So he doesn't want me to do anything?

Get rid of the pinkeye before you get back into the hot tub?

There are soooooo many scenes from that opening episode to rehash......it would dwarf the IAmHuge debacle.

What did I miss on this show?  FUKK --- SF wanted to check it out for sh!ts and giggles but forgot..  damn sticky green!  I'm gonna need a synopsis from U89 or LD

Are we sure that the Tiger scandal wasn't an elaborate PR stunt by the first named mistress who has a producer credit for Jersey Boys?

I am with Upstate...I have an unbelievable urge to give the guy on the far left a knuckle-dragging-the-ground upper cut that he rightfully deserves...

Top 3 to 5 player of All-Time...really?  I mean he was a bit player on the first NC team (freshman year), monster sophomore year and the Heisman on an average team, great junior year and his first NC as a starter, and a good senior year. 

I can name quite a few QB's who won a Heisman and won one NC as a starter.  When I hear All-Time great...I think you look for a guy with multiple, unanimous, first team All-American accolades.  Tebow doesn't have that...which doesn't make the kid "not great", just not one of the best players of All-Time.

Name 5 better players all time.

In 2006, he led the National Champs in rushing touchdowns ( 8 ) and threw for 5 more.

He had a total of 140 career TDs and rushed for more TDs than Hershel Walker, who is probably the best runner in the history of the SEC.

And he did it all against SEC defenses unlike all the record holders who got their numbers at Hawaii, McNeese State or Mount Union.

Congratulations to dlip and his wife on the birth of their first child, Sophia Elizabeth -- 7 pounds, 7 ounces of excitement for their household.  I got to know dlip through his contributions throughout the season to our broadcasts, so I can say without a doubt that Sophia is in great hands.  CONGRATS, DLIP!!!!!

It absolutely blows you way, just emotions you didn't know you had, so much better than you imagined it would or could be. Try not to stare at her ALL the time, DLIP, but it will be hard. Well done sir (and maam, I think your wife may have had something to do with this).
