How can they go on someone elses property to dig up those remains?
If that were Regs house, no go.

The problem about this case is that NOONE has anything on Vick.  Noone can put him at a dawg fight.

So what, they dig up the yard, find the remains and then he claims he wasn't ever there like he has to date?  Where does that get you?  With a bunch of gang bangers all pointing the finger at each other.  Only one particular gang banger has muhc more money than the rest. (plus he made it to my wedding, in favor of gro)

Its funny.  In Massachusetts, animal fighting basically the only crime where police can go ont to anothers property without a warrant.

And I am going to assume it is the same in most states.  Im sure they are just getting proof that Vick actually owned, possessed or trained with the intent to exhibit a dog, or established or promoted an exhibition of dog. (not my words, legal MA terms)

Just the fact that he wasnt at a dog fight doesnt necessarly mean he wasnt part of the process. 

Still looks like it is going to be hard to prove though.

it has been interesting as there is only a few who know all the story but there has been lots of accusations and finger pointing. some schools believe that a number of mac schools were lowering their entrance and academic standards for players on sports teams for the sake of a winning program. the counter claims to that were that the schools who were leaving tended to be stuck at the bottom of the standings and schools claimed they werent willing to make the financial commitment for a winning program. where the truth lies is open for discussion. dvc was a  doormat for a long time until coach mangus took the reigns. there were accusations that the college lowered their academics to let some of the top players into the school partly by mangus pressuring the administration. mangus's players went to class as well as performed in the classroom. but for some it was sour grapes in seeing dvc do well when their own school was mired in the basement. so they would float these ideas/rumors about rather than looking at their own administration and staff and their commitment to all their colleges athletic programs. basically they got tired of getting their teeth kicked in every week and had to come up with a way to justify their constantly being at the bottom. this is just one example as there is plenty of those around to hash out. rest assured there will lots more accusations floated around in the coming months

bman exactly....when susque was winning you never heard a peep out of them...now the tables have turned and all of sudden they get an attitude...same w/ juniata in they constantly float attitude about how they are so much better academically then the rest of the mac....but you look at LV(lebanon valley) and they are getting better year by year. not in huge leaps but they look like they are turning the corner and making some real progress and pbr doesnt think they have compromised their academics at all.

Well IM going to say theres a 90% chance that Vick was actually involved in the dog fighting.

Im still not sure what the actual charge is.  Usually dog fighting is an all encompased crime where the trainer, owners etc are all committing the same crime, whether or not that person is actually at the animal fights themselves.

Now all the police have to do is get a recipt or something that ties Vick to a breeder, food supplier, equipment broker, pet store etc.  Even a cell phone record to a known animal fighter/felon would be enough to find him guilty. 

I havent really followed it up too much.  My administrative assistant is a Union grad.  Hes usually pretty good at research and stuff.  Ill get him on it right away and Ill have more tomorrow.

No need...Bman has done the research and solved the case.  It seems that Vick may be innocent after all.  After extensive investigation, Bman was able to get his hands on some footage from the Atlanta police that actually show that Bert (from sesame street) is actually the ring leader.  Footage shown here show an angry Bert being brought up on conspiracy charges..  It looks like there may be some history with Bert and other football players....

Upon further research interesting links also are beginning to unravel, that may shed some further light upon the OJ conspiracy especially potential witness tampering, however these allegations are unsubstantiated at this time...and Judge Ito was unavailable for comment.

Dogfighting; penalty.

A. No person shall knowingly do any of the following:

1. Promote, engage in, or be employed in the fighting of dogs for amusement, sport or gain;

2. Wager money or anything of value on the result of such fighting;

3. Receive money or anything of value for the admission of another person to a place for dogfighting;

4. Possess, own, train, transport, or sell any dog with the intent that such dog engage in an exhibition of fighting with another dog; or

5. Permit any act described in subdivisions 1 through 4 of this subsection on any premises under his charge or control, or aid or abet any such act

Now this seems to be the element that Vick is going to be charged with.  Of course they will have to prove that he permitted it to happen.
