Gro,

When Reg used to participate in said vice, he also used that site.  Pretty user friendly....don't know how their odds compare, but let's face it, Reg is not trying to make his living off it.

I havent placed a bet in a long time, since they don't accept my credit cards anymore....you have to go through firepay and it really didnt seem worth my time, plus I hate losing.

Glad that Wilson cat got out of jail.  When in doubt, please see Regs rulez about any form of digital media.......i.e. no cameras allowed at shoesapoloooza.

Bman actually stayed off of the Belmont.  Bman was intrigued that Pletcher would enter Rags to Riches (dominated the K Oaks) and has great bloodlines ...(see Jazil)...however, a short field (and all a known quantity), and shorter odds, made it not worth the time...

Bman made huge money on the triple crown season this year, hitting 2 trifectas, and 2 superfectas...so it's safe to day Bman will ease off on the ponies until Saratoga, the Haskell etc...

Bman was a fan of YouBet, however since Bman has an OTB a few miles away, he "saved" himself some money and eliminated the account.  Plus Bman always feels better about himself after walking out of an OTB  :)

Also +K for the E8 SJF recruit report modification...hilarious

Pretty funny OB.

Good Sopranos discussion going on in today's SG chat.

gro has not deposited money into said legal sportsbook account in some time... there are issues now?  Gro's definitley couldn't make a living off wagering... just trying to make football season more exciting.

speaking of which... gro's $$ fantasy football league has opened for business earlier than ever (draft not until late august though).  This year's team name:  Brokeback Mountain Lions... funny or not so much?

scratch that.  chat has disintegrated into nba nonense.  tgp's only gripe with the SG is his interest in the nba.  tgp would rather talk nhl or mll than pro hoops.

SFW.

If the state appeals, he could remain in jail during the appeal.  Why can't they just leave the dood alone?

Using a loophole in a predator law, they bagged the kid for a felony in what was no more than a misdemeanor.

Extremely gay....people will laugh AT you not with you.  Last years team names were much better.

On another subject completely, when did Frank from RWLV become cool?  On the first episode he nailed a girl in the confessional, and then he's running around with all this other tail.  He still seems like the biggest tool bag, except he gets hammered and hooks up with chicks now.  it's bizarro.

And man I hate Arissa and Irulan with a passion...still...

Re: Brokeback Mountain Lions
maybe it's just gro, but the thought of a ferocious mountain-dwelling gay cat.... high-larious.

Re: Sopranos
In Phils last scene, what that Boyz II Men who witnessed the murder? And what was with that dood in the black coat (if you DVR'd it, watch that scene again).

Re: RWLV
haven't been watching it but if frank is getting play then a gateway to hell has opened up somewhere in the palms casino.  Boooo unexpected room of evil... hooray beer!!

additional sopranos insight (provided to tgp by a buddy at work who found this on a sopranos fan board - no idea who the author is):

This is what I found out. The guy at the bar is also credited as Nikki Leotardo. The same actor played him in the first part of season 6 during a brief sit down concerning the future of Vito. That wasn't that long ago. Apparently, he is the nephew of Phil. Phil's brother Nikki Senior was killed in 1976 in a car accident. Absolutely Genius!!! David Chase is truly rewarding the true fans who pay attention to detail.

So the point would have been that life continues and we may never know the end of the Sopranos. But if you pay attention to the history, you will find that all the answers lie in the characters in the restaurant. The trucker was the brother of the guy who was robbed by Christopher in Season 2. Remember the DVD players? The trucker had to identify the body. The boy scouts were in the train store and the black guys at the end were the ones who tried to kill Tony and only clipped him in the ear (was that season 2 or 3?).

Absolutely incredible!!! There were three people in the restaurant who had reason to kill Tony and then it just ends. This was Chase's way of proving that he will not escape his past.

Any of you boys from Cleveland?

Gotta love a pro-athlete that doesn't feel the need to use cliches:

"To tell the truth, I'm not excited to go to Cleveland, but we have to. If I ever saw myself saying I'm excited going to Cleveland, I'd punch myself in the face, because I'm lying."
