100% agreed about the media blowing shizz up and trying to lay blame all over.  Man it is God Damn depressing listening to the evening news.  The sky is falling.  Take cover.

Speaking of holidays, MR just got a "Save the Date" from a very close friend.

The date- May 31st, aka Memorial Day weekend, aka Regs' first vacation day since xmas, aka break out da boat, ML and get tan weekend.

Since Reg received verbal committment 2 years ago from MR that he would never have to go to another summer holiday weekend wedding, am I safe?

Do people honestly think that they are conveniencing their friends and families by pulling this holiday wedding ISH, I mean seriously, when people had to travel by station wagon across the country to see a stupid wedding for jerks, then fine!  Reg can make it to any wedding on earth during a normal weekend wedding. (if he likes you enough)

TGP agrees with Reg's rant(s).  The press has created a panic that is keeping the markets in the tank.  Although the amount of bad debt out there is significant and lenders certainly didn't help themselves along the way, the over-sensationalization of it all has hurt the economy almost as badly as these loans.

On a football related note, TGP was surprised last night while flipping channels to see that after 31 yrs, Inside the NFL ("the show the pros watch") is shutting down.  TGP wonders whether or not this was a NFL Network move (basically cutting ties with HBO and moving it over to their network) or HBO simply thinking it was a good run, and time to move on?

KS has to applaud his nephew, NephewKS is getting married on March 22.  Perfect date in the middle of nothing.  Take a couple of extra days off as Stalkerette is the flower girl and go to Detroit.

It's her friend, someone that I have only met once.
I told MR to call her and tell her to have it a different time, like I would have done if one of my best friends tried to pull that crap, however, she wouldn't.

#1 the wedding is across the country
#2 the wedding is 2 hours from the nearest airport
#3 the wedding is at some summer camp place where everyone sleeps in bunks.

Is this amature hour?  I may need FR to mitigate this one for me with MR.
