I still haven't decided whether to make the trip to Lexington or not.

Biggest Pros:
1.  BC football
2.  Big game
3.  Nature's beauty
4.  Stone Station

Biggest Cons:
1.  Six hours of driving alone (3 hrs each way)
2.  All my Izod shirts are dirty.

Actually "Alligator shirts" are made by Lacoste, not Izod.

Hey, who says a BC grad can't have some "fashion sense" too.

See you guys tomorrow.  W&L hasn't been good enough to see BC's best stuff in recent years.  I think they're in for a very rude awakening tomorrow.  This won't be close.

Come on Miz...apparently the BC grad missed the details.  Nobody mentioned alligators. :-)

Narch & GCOL -

Good luck to both the Monarchs and the Quakers the rest of the way.  I hope MC makes the playoffs and I'm really rooting for GC to finish strong!  I'm sure the two schools will meet again next year in Fayetteville.  Hopefully, GC will have their offense running at full speed and Sr QB Roncketti will be in grad school!  lol

BTW, narch, since you've already beaten NC Wesleyan and Guilford in 2005, I'm willing to concede the "NC's Best DIII Award" for this year if you beat Greensboro on Nov. 5.  Expect some more competition in '06, though!

Peace

Rugby Guy,

Thanks for coming to my defense, but I did mean Alligator shirts.

I thought for sure Izod made those suckers.

Anyway, I NEVER wore one, never will.

Guess I can't go to the game. W & L won't let me in without "proper attire".

I guess I didn't read that far back on the pages.  My mistake Miz!   I stay away for four days and miss about a thousand posts.  Man!

Sure they will - just wear some Dickies and they'll think you're part of the grounds crew.

Looks like the Catholic - E&H game is being moved to Howard University...Cu's field is a mess...Howard has Field Turf.

Karma?

I'm going to just admit my ignorance (I know, I know, it's already obvious to everyone else lol).  I understand how to give and take away Karma to folks who already have that designation, but why do some names have the Karma icon and some don't?

Signed, Karmaless in Carolina  ???

hasanova

Karma Part II - let me clarify - why do some have the [Applaud] and [Smite] sections and others don't?  Signed, He Smite Me

cuaplayer

new field turf?

or the kind with sand that is painted carpet over concrete

norton

I believe it's new...I'm told it's nice.

Rookie.   ;)  There's not a decent D3 football program within three hours of me and I still make 4-5 [decent] games a year.

Howard University has a few photos of Greene Stadium and field on their website - it does look nice, but it's a bit tough to see exactly what it is.  Looks like the kind that has the ground rubber particles in it to provide a cushion when hitting the turf.

I can't figure out how to give or take Karma!  :-\

Hasanova, I'm gonna wear a John Deere hat with my Dickies, that way I'm sure they'll think I'm part of the ground crew.  Thanks for the idea.

And if that don't work, at least Gal will be after me!
