While Cortland claims automatic SUNYAC call to 64 team NCAA tourney although RDragons prior NCAA Power Index would have gotten them ticket, three other NY teams assuredly advancing to nationals.
Russell Sage of Albany qualifies winning Empire 8 tourney with 6-2 win over St. John Fisher following SJF forcing deciding game with 3-1 win. High in NPI rankings, Sage would be NCAA bound anyway. SJF likely out.
RIT captures automatic Liberty League national berth with deciding 17-5 clipping of Hobart in LL tourney. Hobart forces deciding game with 17-6 toppling of RIT. Hobart now very uneasy in its national bid hopes.
Skyline Conference's Farmingdale  wins Sunday over Marchant Marine 5-2 for automatic NCAA tourney spot.
Alfred State bounced Saturday in Allegheny Mountain CC tourney final by Penn St.-Behrend.
