The home teams win; Tornabene and Finarelli get 30 apiece.  ::)

Who the heck is 'Finarelli"?
Must be a new Danzig secret weapon he's been hiding all season.  ;D

You don't beat Frank 3 times in 1 year...(Landmark Conf. rule)
River Hawks: 68
Royals: 63

He's my current choice for Landmark POY, playing in his home area @ Wilkes for Etown.

Sounds good & wish him well for POY even though I think the kid from Moravian is a lock.
If he drops 30, I hope they can pull out a W.

Greek Tragedy

Scranton loses to Sus. Not looking good.

What an absolute clown show.

19-7 + Mediocre Schedule = 9 more months of no Royal Men's basketball

They probably needed to at least get to the Landmark championship to have a shot at making the NCAA tournament.

Going undefeated v the nonconference schedule is what gave them the likelihood of the at-large berth. Losing the 3 home games(Drew(OT), Wilkes, Susquehanna) is what cost them the berth.

Hey on a positive note 33% of the student section was filled last night.

Spatola deserved better than this.

For those itching for Spring: Scranton-Marywood baseball tilt this afternoon.

False hope typical Danzing teams . Watch the excuses start to fly . Never mind he said them. We are  hurt , we are young blah blah blah..SMH

Greek Tragedy

Scranton down to At-large 28. Drew at 23. One bid league unless Drew can win the conference tournament (or Sus/Wilkes for that matter).

Two weeks ago the Royals were actually ranked for the first time in about 10 years on this site.
Then, under the guidance of Big Game Carl, the wheels, axils, transmission & doors blew off this juggernaut...losing 4 of their last 6.
Talk about peeking the wrong way at the wrong time.
Then again...this is what we're used to with the Scranton men.
Look like world beaters in December, forget how to play by Feb.
Until there is a change...nothing will ever change in Royalville.
The nation demands/deserves a new leader.
And yes, Jon Spatola deserved better.

Scranton has been pretty consistent all year.  Yes, I suspect you all got excited about the home win over Catholic, as it was certainly Scranton's best performance all year, but the non-conference schedule wasn't great and they performed pretty much as expected in conference, based on the early season results.

Perfectly valid to be disappointed, of course, but I don't think there was any dip in play or quality.
