BOTTOM LINE IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT TIME HE PLAYS . HIS TIME WAS UP ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO THAT IS THE REAL TIME. SO IS THIS HIS LAST YEAR THE ONLY TIME IM ON???

Also, as much as college students could generally care less about attending athletic events these days, I think you're much more likely to get them to show up at 5:30 than 7:30.  You can go to the first game and move on to your real plans for the night.

Great Day to be a Royal

And looking at Saturday, you're going to lose most student section support as you have three other programs playing on campus for conference championships all day Saturday. The LC will likely be quite empty.

Tell me your old without telling me you are old. These kids don't go out till 10pm.

Yes, most of the royal programs are thriving...

You don't do anything fun until 10pm, but I'm guessing they're not sitting around inside anywhere at 7 or 8.

Field Hockey, Men's Soccer, & Women's Soccer all playing for Landmark Championships & at home on Saturday.
When was the last time Danzig led the basketball team to a Landmark Championship at home?
When field hockey will have more fans in the seats over men's basketball, you know the wheels have fallen off a once proud program.
Sorry, under his "leadership' this program has totally disappeared from the national landscape.
Hell, I'd argue they are rarely even a factor in Regional discussions.
Numerous teams at Scranton have absolutely flourished and grown in popularity through the years with one major exception...Men's Basketball.
Personally, I could care less if Danzig plays at 6:00 am or 6:00 pm...he lost me as a fan & supporter of the program more than a decade ago.
I wish the kids in the program well but it is clearly time for a change at the top...especially if the goal is to be playing for Landmark Championships some Sat. in late February.

Toga,

Here is your bingo card for quotes coming out of the Long Center this season.

"We are young" (seen that 5 years in a row)
"You have to hit your shots to win the game"
"Everyone gives Scranton their best"

Best,

Just think how powerful this team was under Bessior and then we had Toby (The freak) Lovecchio bring his buddy in that tried so hard to get the Bucknell job or any d1 job. Lmao. Now look at the Womes team they cant hold a coach. This needs to be eating this guy to the core.LMAO..I love how the outsiders come in and say well he did this he did that guess what he never provided this University a National Title in his 25 years. One time final 8 yippee....

Great Day to be a Royal

But boy that Elite 8 run was fun!

Let's get excited about the season, boys! A highly-competitive non-conference slate, and overall high conference expectations. Let's see how it all plays out.

In any event, let's go Royals!

saratoga

In Danzig's only Elite 8 run in 25 years it took 2 unbelievable shots to make that happen.

First, Matt Swaback hit a 35' desperation shot at the buzzer to tie Messiah & send the game into OT which the Royals won going away.

Then in the second weekend vs. Middlebury in Vermont, Brian Farrell hit a 3 at the buzzer after Middlebury just erased an 11 point Scranton lead in the last 7 minutes.

Of course, the next night with a chance to go to the Final 4...the Royals were blown out by Cabrini & Coach Khan...now of National Champion Mary Washington.
