Just posted...

The Lady Royals have added two exhibition games vs. D1 programs.
On Oct. 25th. they'll be at Colgate and on Nov. 16th. they'll be at Pitt.
Fantastic job by Ben to get these games & experience for the players.
My guess is that Abby helped pull the trip to Pittsburgh together.
Regardless, well done Scranton!

Awesome news! Where do you see the game at Pitt being published?

Great Day to be a Royal

You don't think that good old coach Nick had pull on Pitt game?!?!?!  ;D

Oh, I'm sure he did.  ;)
After 1 year in the Steel City and being part of a Panthers team that won all of 5 or 6 games before they cleaned house (with the sole exception of former Lady Royal Abby Anderson),...I'm sure he's as revered as Bradshaw, Clemente & Crosby.  :o  ;D

The Lady Royals should get two very good tests right out of the gate.
SUNY Geneseo knocked off Catholic in the NCAA tournament first round at CUA, then won the next night vs. Montclair to advance to the Sweet 16.
They return 3 of their top scorers.

SUNY Cortland always plays physical & they have the big girl (Lusk) that will post up & shoot the 3.
They too have a nice group of tournament ready kids & both games are on the road in upstate NY.

Should be some great games to start a new season.

Scranton should win the tie-breaker since Rochester's Geneseo game is @ home.

Thanks for the overview.
Nice to see teams that are willing to open up with competitive programs as opposed to feasting on cupcakes.

From the: That's Quite The Athletic Pedigree Dept:

To say recent Lady Royal recruit Megan Logan comes to Scranton from a family of athletes would be somewhat of an understatement.

Her dad played basketball at Holy Cross, her mom played at Manhattan, her brother currently plays at Davidson and her sister swims at Duke.

Pretty impressive to say the least.
