Congrats Lady Royals on a well deserved victory.  My wife and I commented yesterday afternoon that with the D1 tournament starting yesterday and the Elite Eight being played in D3, that we never thought the game we were most looking forward to was the D3 women's semifinal matchup. It lived up to its billing however. Looking forward to the final.

Watched teh game on ESPN + and the production was fantastic. Ben had a great interview coming out of halftime. Good screen time for the men's lacrosse team (nice to have a student section for the semi final), the dean of students and some kiddos behind the bench, and I may have seen some d3boards posters if I looked hard enough.

Ben will obviously have them ready and this should have been the title game; can't let foot of the gas on Saturday.

What a game!

Too bad the LAX team has to leave this morning for a match Sat. at Goucher.
If I were the AD I'd have called Goucher's AD & asked for their match to be moved to Sunday & kept them in Salem for Sat's. championship.

Our daughter was one person coming out of this game a winner either way...
Undergrad degree from the UofS & MA. from NYU.
Can't wait to see their next quarterly mentioning this game.  ;D

Survive & advance baby!

Heard the entire mens LAX team showed up tonight.  :)

As they should!  Hats off to them for rerouting the trip and representing and supporting.

Well done ladies!!

Congratulations, Scranton, you are the new Women's BeltTM champion!

The Lady Royals's first defense of the Women's BeltTM is on Saturday vs Denison.  The Scranton men's LAX team got mentioned in the ESPN+ stream.

Shout out to Roanoke's Pep Band! They were at the game and the Men's lax team was pumping them up!

They even gave them the spinner sign and the brick sign ( Meaning the band gave it to the Lax team.). What an atmosphere. Reminded me of the game up at Springfield against hope.

Another fantastic season by the Lady Royals & for that...congratulations!!

As for the game itself, credit to Denison as they seemed to speed up Scranton at times & in doing so, shots were uncharacteristically rushed & missed.

Seemed that Denison's length almost made the ladies feel as though once they had any degree of daylight...shoot.

I'll be interested in Ben's assessment & thoughts.

Regardless, although it's human nature to remember the game that hurts...this group of young women were an absolute joy to watch & to see them develop & mature throughout the year & their careers.

This will sting a while but the great thing is kids are resilient & there is a fantastic core of young women that will be back to lead the charge next season.

Heads high, relax a bit & we'll be there for you again during your run next season.

Seniors...thanks for all the great memories.  ;)

Good to see you, Ronk.

Tough one today. I'm sure we will see each other again down the road, likely in March.
