 I'm suspecting that this is a WBB close observer and someone familiar with the northern NJ basketball scene. If so, his surprises might include Pat Devaney(HC - New Jersey City U), from the HS ranks: Dawn Karpell, Mary Beth Chambers(former Kings standout with a daughter in coaching), Joe Gaba(Maddie Hartman's coach and now head of United AAU team program), from the AAU ranks: Tracy Sabino, and Ellen Masonius(with a daughter in the transfer portal with 2 years eligibility).

Nah, I'm just stirring the pot. Scranton graduates on the 23rd but you'll want to include a player panel in the interview process which'll be easier if they're still on campus. And it's an attractive job, which I know from experience brings in plenty of non-obvious coaches (think Calhoun being named the first head coach D3 University of Saint Joseph). Plus I like to mess with NEPAFAN :-)

 It can't be coach Ken Howard(The White Shadow TV show) who played @ Amherst but passed 10 years ago.

Now that the UofS has made Kaitlyn's appointment official, I hope Dave Martin schedules a meet & greet for the media, team & public at the Long Center asap.
