Hopefully, they'll win at least 21 games so that the 6 from Lyco, Wilkes, and Goucher can be dropped from their NPI.

Hi Kate,

By all means...have at it.
They're all yours.  ;)

See, that's what I'm talking about - it sure as heck isn't because of 'beatabilty' - Nothing like that - it's the personality of the school and the coaches - I shouldn't have to tell you how much I love d3 sports.   Favorite, of course, is basketball, and especially exciting, to me, is the fact that the WNBA will have a team in Philadelphia by 2030.   All that said, good luck to Scranton this coming season, and I do realize that there's nothing wrong with wanting the total BEST for your TEAM, but as tempting as it apparently is for some (that 'like-minded' phrase will stick with me til I die), it's really not cool to dis ANY D3 team for whatever reason.   Just remember what FDU Florham Park did a few years back.   I DO so miss the back & forth with all you guys.

Kate:

I love your passion for all things Del. Valley & women's athletics in general, but the reality of the matter is those 2 schools have 6 combined victories in the Landmark last year & the year before it was worse.

The fact of the matter in today's world of NPI is that those schools & their very poor results can & do impact good teams by being locked in for 2 games per year for each struggling program.

The reality is they are in the conference & until they make serious positive strides, they will continue to hurt the better teams in national rankings and it will continue to be incumbent on the better teams to schedule the best they can in non-conference games.

Not a dis...just the new world of NPI & competitive college athletics.
