Ithaca, Skidmore, RPI, Clarkson in the 4-team double elimination field. More representation for the East Division than there has been in a minute; feels weird not to see Rochester here. Tournament at Freeman Field.

Not sure what you mean by "in a minute" You understand Clarkson was in the West Division this year and last year Union and RPI from the East joined Ithaca and Rochester from the West so it's been 2-2...The Union at Clarkson series was very close. Clarkson won both games 1 and 3 on walk offs in the 10th. Union actually outscored Clarkson 19-17 in the series.

Skidmore starting pitcher keep your hat on during a play challenge.

Status: Failed, repeatedly.

Seriously though. what are the rules on that? How is it allowed? Does Ithaca have to complain first? I'm not talking a one time thing. It is constant

The wheels come off for Skidmore in a disaster of a 6th inning, as four wild pitches and three HBP lead to 10 runs for Ithaca, who now lead 12-2. Ironically, a very nice play by the first baseman on a rocket of a ground ball ends the inning before it gets worse.

But if you can score 10 in an inning, so can the other team. Lots of baseball left.

It's just been a bad tournament so far. No competitive games.

13-1
14-5
10-1
15-5
14-3

and currently 12-3 in the 4th

RPI/Ithaca tomorrow for it all. Hopefully at least one game delivers

Caz Bombers

Certainly will be interesting to see what the NPI ranking looks like for Ithaca tomorrow morning. Will they be able to squeeze in if they lose to RPI again?

Caz Bombers

Ithaca down from 37 to 45 in the NPI after the loss to RPI yesterday, so seems safe to say it's a one bid league. Gotta win today to keep playing ball.

Caz Bombers

RPI beats Ithaca again 4-1 to claim the LL championship. Don't see any way Ithaca gets in. Reminiscent of that Super Regional where they were on the doorstep but couldn't seal the deal.
