Tonight's Emmanuel vs Regis game has been moved from Emmanuel to Regis.  Regis will now be the home team for this matchup.   The men's game will be the second game of the doubleheader and will tip off at 7:30 PM ET.

Can't get much tougher in the conference. Back to back road games at St. Joseph's Maine and St. Joseph CT. Will be interesting to see if Magnus can bounce back from Saturday's close loss.

St joes Maine is peaking at the right time of the year, as well as St joes Conn. SJC maine is a top 25 team but has dealt with many injuries this year. They play each other on the 21st which will decide who gets home court advantage throughout the tourney. SJC maine hasn't beat St joes conn in years, but this is there best chance to do so as well as secure home court. It doesn't get much better than that!

Remijo Wani with 42 points last night. Will he get back to back POTYs? Other people in contention are Lence from USJ, Esmer Modesko from Lasell, Daniels from Albertus, and his teammate, Wani Donate? Interesting race in the gnac...

Albertus with a huge comeback win 98-91 in overtime Saturday in New Haven against the Lazers of Lasell.  Grad player Tazhon Daniels poured in a huge 41 points on 18 of 21 from the charity stripe.  Sophomore wing Lennox Serrano started in place of second leading scorer Jaquan Kirkland  and collected a double double of 10 points, 11 rebounds as well as 3 steals in 36 huge minutes.  Sr night tomorrow night against Dean College at 7:30 in the Falcon Nest.

Senior night tonight at Albertus on NH, Hamden CT line.  Seniors include sharpshooter Jaquan  Kirkland, big man Avery Hinnant, combo guard and Fairleigh Dickinson transfer Ray Ford .

Sjc Maine vs USJ Conn for the 1 seed this weekend! I have SJC Maine pulling out a close one and securing home court throughout the GNAC tourney, and eventually seeing USJ again in the championship.

Ray Ford will get 1000 points in just two seasons at Albertus Magnus.

SJC Maine dominated USJ Conn over the weekend with a 84 to 61 win. I will say it again, SJC Maine is a top 25 team but won't get that respect due to their record from the early season injuries. Remijo Wani and Wani Donato are both all American players in my opinion, and this team could make a run in the NCAA tourney barring a upset in the GNAC tourney. They were just too talented offensively and physically dominant on the defensive end for USJ. I think Albertus has the best chance at upsetting them in the tournament as they can make the game hectic with their ability to turn people over and get out in transition, but they would have to knock USJ off in the semis to get to SJC. I think it ends up being SJC vs Albertus in the GNAC chip this Sunday. USJs years of dominance has caught up to them and they have to find a new identity.

As long as Daniels for AMC is healthy he can really light it up for the Falcons. Division 1 transfer from Jersey City and St Peter Prep in New Jersey Ray Ford is only 6 points away from reaching 1,000 in only two years for the club.  The Falcons have had a very sucessful year thus far despite playing the whole campaign without the services of Siena and Sacred Heart transfer 6-5 Aidan Carpenter who injured himself during their first practice.

HotDog

The Falcons lost only by three in a barnburner 99 to 96 to the Monks on January 31st without Tazhon Daniels playing after he was wrongfully ejected out of their previous game.  First things first is a quarterfinal game against a semi talented Regis Pride squad .

Well... I was at the game and it wasn't so much a barn burner. SJC maine was up 10-15 most of the game but Albertus clawed back but it was never necessarily close. They hit two bank threes and a half courter at the buzzer in the last two minutes to make it look closer than it was. However, I do believe Albertus is going to knock out USJ and it will be SJC ME vs Albertus in a good one Sunday.

So thats what ended up happening to Carpenter? I was curious... so it was a season ending injury?
