Really, really dumb move by the NC player to get a red card after the game ended in the quarters. While they might not have won last night with him, it surely didn't help to lose their top scorer.

To be fair, he did not really do much.  This was a complete overreaction by the officials.  They thought they saw him strike an opponent with the ball after the game, and that did not happen.  Unfortunately, there is no recourse once the red is given.

I didn't see it, so have to take your word, but heard from a player who was standing right there that he "took a player to the ground".  I agree that it's too bad if the ref saw something that wasn't there and nothing you can do about it once the red comes out.

IWU CCIW Champs. Conf Champs 2 of last 3 years, program gets no respect in CCIW.  Beat NP twice this year.  Might not play the prettiest soccer, but no team in CCIW plays harder.
