These 1st games for Wheaton always scare me. Their first opponent always has a game under their belt. Overall Wheaton had a decent 1st half, but just gave up the big play.

Wheaton leads 26-21, but the defense has played well. Albion truly has some dangerous offensive skill positions. RB Orr is a pre-season All-American and they have some scary WR's.

Orr has a 93 yard kickoff return and the Albion defense sacked Meador, who fumbled, and a 5'9" 294lb DT scooped it up for a TD. Albion had one long pass for the other TD. 3 plays... otherwise Wheaton has a comfortable lead. But they don't, and it has me pressing a bit.

Long pass from Meador to Hiben (yes, a FR WR for Wheaton) for Wheaton TD. Wheaton leads 33-21. No more big plays for Albion! Really nice to have a big, big WR. Hiben has at least 7 inches on the Albion Db's.

Meador is looking very good at QB. Looking very poised. Making smart plays and hurting Albion both in the air and with some scrambles.

Wheaton defense not looking real sharp right now. Conditioning seems to be a factor? Another long Albion drive, sustained by Wheaton personal fouls. Albion had a 4th and 15 from the Wheaton 31 and QB scrambles forever and finds a WR for a 17 yard gain.

Wheaton mythodically drives down the field for a TD. Now leads 54-28. Really like the blocking by Hunter Thorson at the left TE. 6'6" 240lb and very agile. Much of the damage on the drive comes from Justin Swider - nice hard running.
