Congrats on your first national team championship!  I'm surprised it took this long but it's always good to see someone other than the usual schools winning a 'ship.

CWRU begins the season as the ITA's #1 ranked men's team in D3.

The question for national title number two begins this Friday against a very respectable Oberlin squad.

Here are the results from Friday/Saturday:

Allegheny: 7-0
Oberlin: 7-0
Rochester: 7-0
RIT: 7-0

Not only did CWRU win every match-up in every match........but they literally swept EVERY SET!!!

This team may indeed have national title level material.

CWRU upset #4 Chicago to win the UAA title and punch its ticket to the NCAAs.

Last time they won the conference....they went on to win the natty.

Let's hope that history repeats itself.

GO SPARTANS!!!

OK, men's Elite Eight tonight.

#4 now has a rematch with their arch rival #5 Chicago.

OK, so we won the rematch with Chicago 4-2 to advance to the Final Four.

Only problem?

We play #1 ranked Claremont, which already beat us 5-2 at the ITA Indoor Championships.

PRAYING FOR AN UPSET!!!

In a STUNNING UPSET, CWRU beat Claremont 4-2 on Claremont's own home court, avenging an earlier loss.

Now CWRU will play in its fourth d3 men's tennis national title game against its local Ohio nemesis, Denison, a team which has had CWRU's number this season, and which is currently ranked #2.

It'll take ONE HELL of an effort for CWRU to win this one and claim its second national title.

Sadly, Denison was too much to overcome.  Truly our Achilles heel this season; lost to them three times.  That's OK though.  CWRU returns a bunch of top players and should once again be a national title favorite in 2026.
