Tucker Horn had a successful debut for the CFL's Toronto Argonauts.  Playing most of the second half after the second string QB went 1-6, Tucker completed 16 of 21 for 172 yards and a TD.  One of his throws, a beautiful deep over the shoulder toss to the 4 that led to the Argo's first TD, was featured on the CFL's Xitter.

Horn led the Argos on all three of their scoring drives in the 24-16 preseason loss.

Quote from: Ron Boerger on May 14, 2025, 12:46:40 PMTrinity has just started posting their class of 2029 on Xitter -

Ten DBs
Six LBs
Two Ks
Four DLs
Seven OLs
Seven WRs
One each QB (Welker Horn), TE, RB

That's a typical sized class for Urban, if not on the high side by a few.

Since these all say "Class of 2029" there could be additional transfers, though I would not expect the number to be large.

10 DBs?!  Bodes well for some standout players to emerge.

Looks like Tucker Horn made the Argos' regular season roster.  They announced their final preseason cuts yesterday and he wasn't one of them - and is still on the roster.  He threw the game winning TD at the end of their final preseason game, too.

EDIT:  Division 1 Rejects (unfortunate name but cool coverage) interviewed Tucker and discussed his journey to the CFL in their latest episode.

Not sure this is the right forum for this, but just thought people would want to know that Trinity (TX) University Offensive Coordinator Wade Lytal posted on X that his daughter is one of the kids missing from Camp Mystic after the floods.
