It's probably too early in the season to tell how league teams will try to defense UMW. Bruen is sometimes doubled at post but she seems to be spending more time that last season on the perimeter where it is harder to double her. I think she's been the high scorer every game so far. She is probably leading in assists too. Hickey and Kampman and others have been scoring in the middle too which makes it harder to double Bruen.

Final: Salisbury 75-York 71 in OT

The Spartans really missed Keli Ward in OT.

Meghan Phillips torches the Spartans for 27 points while Jessica Mills added 13. Catherine Mills had 12 points and Brianna Simpson notched 10 points for Salisbury.

York is led by Kristen Daly with her third straight 20 point effort as she finished with 21 points and nine boards. Ward records the double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Chanel Perez adds 13 points and eight rebounds while Amy Fry is the fourth Spartan in double figures with 10 points and six boards. York out-rebounds Salisbury 52-38 but the Spartans commit 34 turnovers.
