W&L 7-0 over Averett. I didn't watch the game, but saw that Bridgewater (up until last night at the top of ODAC standings) tied Averett 2-2. So presumably Averett not irredeemably weak.

No. Averett is really bad. That was just one of those games that happens in soccer. Bridgewater had 24 shots to Averett's 4, Averett put all 4 on goal and 2 went in. Bridgewater had 8 on goal, but only put 2 past the keeper.

Bridgewater, however, is not as good as their record either. They just hadn't really played anyone until the Va Wes, H-SC, W&L trio to finish the ODAC season. They lost to Va Wes, we will see how they do against the Squids and Generals.

So far, Bridgewater's toughest game was a 3-0 loss away to Mary Washington. Otherwise, the schedule is a pile of cupcakes since Roanoke fell on their face this season. The unbalanced schedule means they don't even get Lynchburg unless they get them in the ODAC tournament.

Yes. I would checking in on the game this weekend around kids activities but... well, FloSports is bullsh!t and the ODAC is full of morons who want to screw the few people who care about their athletic teams.

Big night tonight for the ODAC to determine conference championship seeding. And that Bridgewater W&L game is significant as both are near the at large bubble and above the QWB cutoff. A win for either side could make a difference for an at large bid.

A Bridgewater win would be HUGE for that program...they are usually nowhere near an at-large bubble position. Only had 2 winning seasons in the ODAC since 2014.

Tonight will be interesting. I really did not expect Bridgewater to get a win against H-SC. That's probably their best win of the season. Either that or St. Mary's. I think W&L is more talented, but when you can't score, every game is a toss up. I hope W&L knows how much they need this one and that they aren't in a position this season where they walk over ODAC teams.

W&L up 1-0 at the half. Stats favor the Generals, 6-2 in shots, 2-1 on goal, 5-0 on corners. No idea what it's actually like because, well, money-grubbing morons.

2-0 Generals just under 70 minutes in. From the stats it seemed to come against the run of play. Bridgewater had caught up on shots at least.

Big night in the ODAC. Bubble teams W&L and Bridgewater face likely locks H-SC and Lynchburg respectively. H-SC has travel to Lexington, where the teams already played to a tie, while Bridgewater treks to Lynchburg in their first meeting this season.

Winners to the ODAC Championship at the highest remaining seed.

W&L win 2-0. They were the better team. Ricky Sanchez scored the 2nd goal on a 1 v 1 breakaway. Impressive.

Lynchburg rolled as well, 3-0. That's going to be a tough task for the Generals. In the end, I do think these are the ODAC's two best teams, despite NPI.

A little easier, yes. Breathe easy? No. The start to the season took any chance of breathing easy away.

They are probably safe, somewhere near the top of the last eight range. Winning the ODAC obviously ends any chance of missing out, but the win would move their NPI to a much more favorable seed. Losing the ODAC is going to make for much harder matchups if they get in.

Still, they have to move above Va Wes at this point in NPI, maybe one or two others.
