Does anyone know if the player from Williams that was injured yesterday (in the Williams vs. MIT game) is ok?  That was one of the roughest mid-air collisions I have ever seen in D3 women's soccer.  The video immediately cut from the injured players (which is what should and normally does happen) and ended up focused across the field on the Williams bench where the players were understandably a little emotional.  After roughly 45 minutes, when play resumed, the announcer obviously wasn't going to give any details but you could see the ambulance with lights on leaving the field complex.  The MIT player was able to walk off the field with some assistance.  Hopefully they were just following precautionary measures and the injury is not too serious!

Here is the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 - Poll 6 (October 14, 2025): https://unitedsoccercoaches.org/rankings/college-rankings/ncaa-diii-women/

I was surprised to see Messiah at #4 one ahead of Chicago, who doesn't have a loss (just one tie).

Tufts are hosting the Mammoths of Amherst this afternoon at 4pm so we will see if they can remain undefeated against their conference opponent.

Meantime, Messiah plays Penn State - Harrisburg for the first time in their program history tonight at 7pm.  The coach of Penn State - Harrisburg is Coach Scott Frey's son-in-law!  So Scott Frey's daughter (also a decorated alumni of Messiah Women's Soccer) will have something to be happy about and something to not be happy about no matter what!

You are right and I am wrong for the second straight week.

The coaches are still quite high on 7-2-3 Brandeis which would have bolstered the case for Emory.

I agree on Chicago, they have a strong case for No. 1.

This shall be a relatively quiet week for the UAA, but Chicago and Washington University will travel to Emory the following weekend for games that may well settle the UAA Women's and Men's championships.

Amherst gets the go ahead score on a penalty kick with 4 minutes left to beat Tufts 2-1.  That means the Jumbos will most surely drop down from the #3 spot next Tuesday (depending what else happens this next week).

The night for upsets .. Penn State - Harrisburg upsets Messiah 1-0 scoring the only goal on a penalty kick
with less than 2 minutes left in the first half and holds on for the win!  That has a good chance of dropping Messiah out of the top 10.
