Hi all, thanks for letting me join your board. I have developed my own formula-based college football rankings since 2023, and lately I have started following Division III football more closely after major college football stopped being fun. So instead of limiting it to FBS/FCS teams, I have started rating all NCAA and NAIA teams together. The combined version is on my site, but you may find D3-only rankings below, taking into account scores through week 3. As we approach playoff time, I will also share rankings that omit margin of victory in order to see how closely they align with NPI.

Other models likely put more stock in 2025 data at this stage. Mine is more fluid while still using 2025 as a baseline, which is largely phased out after a team's 5th game and completely removed after the 8th game.

It will be interesting to see if Mount Union will round into form by the time they face Ohio Northern and Baldwin-Wallace, which won't be for several more weeks.
