Amherst should be concerned with making the NESCAC tournament. Any thoughts of making the NCAA Tournament is a pipe dream for the Lord Mammoths.

You're underestimating how many ties in the NESCAC will help Amherst in NPI. Just watch, they'll beat a couple of the bottom dweller teams in the conference, get a couple more ties against good teams, and get right back on the bubble.

You wouldn't necessarily predict that a team that was 1-6-3 would beat a team that was 7-0-3, but that's why they play the games.

Monmouth-Beloit this Saturday (Oct. 10): a prime opportunity for each to get off the list!

Beloit proving once again that there are different levels among the Yet to Win teams.  Beloit confidently advances out of the group while Monmouth (IL) embraces their winless status.

The interesting thing is that Monmouth was up 2-1 in the 16th minute of this game.  I'm assuming it was the team's first time being ahead all season and they held the lead for 22 minutes before falling apart.  Monmouth did finish with 10 men after a receiving a red card in the 63rd minute, but that can only explain two of Beloit's goals.

Regent escapes the no results club with a 0-0 draw against Southern Virginia to "improve" to 0-11-1. Still in the winless category but at least they have a draw now. Connor Henriques set a program record with 13 saves (11 in the first half).

St Lawrence, Rowan, and Catholic all cling to the unbeaten list picking up draws. Rowan scored the equalizer at Montclair St with just over 30 seconds left.
