Tbh I dont want Mount to get into the playoffs. It will be another 1st round loss. BW is the front runner - but I would rather see no OAC team get in than have it be BW. Maybe that is wrong of me - so be it. Need to find a way for BW to lose 2 and Berg get in.
They have to lose 2 of the next 3 so we need Mount and either the formidable (cough cough) Muskies, or the dangerous (hack cough) Quakers to come through.

That means "G" Jeff has a year to order gum and Mount has a year to eat some Wheaties, dig into them Flutie Flakes, lift some weights, look up "how to get faster" on the ol' internet and work to not get the doors blown off.

Only way Mount gets in is by winning out, and Berg losing to Etta or ONU. Auto Qualifier is the only way.

Sorry but ,,The Standards" starters NEED to see the 4th quarter the next 2 games. They need cohesion and reps.

I have stood by the team field entrance a few times at a game. 1st was in 05 - listening to Nate and Greg talking on the way out at half - set the tone, no mistakes - the oline talking about no penalties and finish strong, the D saying D stuff (pressure, time to hit, no let down). Same thing with Lally and Nemeth, and Taurice on their run. They were amped up coming out of the locker room.

I stood there yesterday. kappas comes out with a coach, no talking. Kickers and holders...nothing. Doors open here come the Raiders..and nothing. Slow walk, guys laughing, one guy looks over fence and calls out "what up niglo (sp?). What you doin later?". 2 guys talking about a frat party after game "you heading over?". The only guy that said anything football-ish (not really football ish even) was #4. Last one out and I was stepping off the walk and said "finish strong" and he replied "yes Sir". No one seemed ready, convinced, confident, or determined. It was odd. Made me think more of how the opponents normally come out after the first half - defeated and ready to go home. 

Well today was - well we won but IT wasnt a win. I think they outplayed us but sometimes its better to be lucky than good. On the good side - we handled the run. BWs hammer is the run game. On the bad - we punted in 4 and inches and 4th and 1 or 2 way to often. Christ put Maloney under center and sneak it! If there is no confidence in the line getting us 6 inches then WTH is the point of any of this? Mount had 1 play - 1! - where we looked like Mount. The 50+ yd score before half.  Thats it. The rest looked like Hiram, or Capital, or Oberlin (EW!).

And they come out of the half with a chance to score and pull away - and go 3 and out

Just had a 4 play 70 yd scoring drive in :30 before half. They are showing glimpses of THE Mount. But leading Marietta 20-7 at half is underwhelming

I will be at Mount game Saturday. It will be interesting to see what they are doing now to compare with the Grove City game I went to. Was supposed to go to the BW game om 7th but my sister has box seats at osu/oregon and I agreed after week 3 to go. Might change my mind if the BW game has some significance

First time Mount has fallen out of Top 25 since...1776?

I think thats it. They just beat Mount - maybe if they went Mount, Wilma, BW? Beating Mount for 1st time in 39 years - I am sure they had a few parties in Tiffin
