Just another quick note to alert everyone that both games will be broadcast tomorrow by our campus radio station.  The link is:

i Tunes or Real Player are your best bet.

If anyone has info on either team in the first game, I know the announcers are gathering info on Mac and Eureka as we speak.  See you all tomorrow.

Mr. Hart, I don't see how the schedule can be completed by playing only on Wed and Saturdays. For that to happen, you would have to start the Saturday after Thankgiving to complete the 18 game schedule.  There would have to be 5 conf. games played before the break. For schools that can't keep kids over break for long periods of time (i.e. Eureka), how would you fit in your non-conference games?

I believe that next year the NCAA adjusts the championship schedule back so that the SLIAC tournament will be February 28 (men) and 29 (women) with March 1 for(championships).  So, this means there will be two games in the first semester
and 8 weeks (starting on January 5 ending on February 26) to get the other 16 games
in.

Also, if the SLIAC tournament is at Webster, I believe there will be more internet broadcasts.

Would love to come down and watch the game - but can't get of the driveway! Will the game be webcast? Any way to get updates? Hopefan will have to burn up minutes calling if the game isn't being carried by either school....

The game will be broadcast tonight via the web.  Here is the link:

I have been told that you must use either  i tunes or Real Player to get the broadcast.  This is the first time our campus radio station has tried broadcasting a game.  If there any technical difficulties, don't shoot the messenger.

Also, next year the conference will return to a Wednesday/Saturday schedule. And as Pat correctly noted, two or three of those games will be played before the Christmas break.
