Most places the PA announcer counts down the final 10 seconds each half. Does anyone know the actual rule about having or not having an actual buzzer sound . . . eh, at the buzzer?

I think the QWB column refers to the quality win bonus a team gets for beating that team. It's not a measure of the quality win bonus points that the team has received so far this season.

For example, SLU's listed QWB is 3.948, which is equal to their NPI (59.265) minus 54 (the quality win base) x .75 (the QWB multiplier). 59.265-54=5.265, 5.265x.75=3.948.

It does look like you need to go all the way down to Messiah, at #24 to find the highest ranked team without any QWB points. The only team they have played so far with an NPI >54 is Scranton (a loss in their first game of the season).

Calvin hasn't updated their website well. The old Zuidema Field (pictured at night) was located basically on the grassy area to the left of picture of the new soccer stadium (somewhat confusingly also called Zuidema Field - maybe Zuidema Field at Calvin Soccer Stadium or some such).

The old Zuidema field doesn't really exist anymore.

The new stadium is very nice. The main stand is kind of a mini-Van Andel Soccer Stadium. Though it seems a little steeper so you feel closer to the pitch.

It looks like both Calvin's soccer (vs. DePauw at 2:30) and football (vs. K at 7:00) teams play at home on Sept 27. The football team is also scheduled to play at home on Nov 1 at 1:00, which could be the same day as a home soccer match if Calvin is a 3 or 4 seed in the MIAA tournament.

Mens field in D1 is 48, not 32.

I think page 45 is the women's list.

PreChampionships Manual

The prechampionships manual (page 18) lists 42 conferences as having AQs in 2024. The list does not include WIAC. Not sure why the WIAC website says they do (maybe Culver's really has pull).

The NPI wizards posted an update on 10/30. Maybe they will do twice-a-week updates now until the final one.
