Anyone notice the refs didn't stop clock after the first down to the 5.  Almost cost them a chance to tie

Congrats to Chapman for a great win on the road. From the what it looks like this is the first SCIAC road playoff win in 40 years. I believe the last time was Oxy in 1985.

Chapman D has been playing well this season. They have speed all over the field and did a great job containing the Whitworth QB.

Should be a good one at River Falls! 8-)

Congrats to Chapman on the win! WIAC level offensive lines are a different animal to deal with. Chapman has speed but are small upfront and will have difficulty competing in the trenches.

I agree with the group, it is always nice to get a playoff win on the road. However, going for two on the first touchdown was stupid, almost a game changer. Chapman won because they were quicker. NWC is down this year but young, UR beat up WW and the Panthers were quicker than the Rats. CU mobile QB make it tough on a slow defense. QB was able to stay out of trouble most down. I will say the WW qb is vastly improved since UR beat them.

Going forward, took a peek at RF starting O line, they are huge (four over #300 and not short kings like the SCIAC fatties) . I expect RF to jam the ball down CU throat. It will come down to if the RF can get to the linebackers. On a side note RF wide outs also will have a huge advantage, many are 6'2 to 6'5"...This team is huge.

Note Game starts at 10 am our time on the West Coast...ESPN+ for all you tight wads

Obviously the SCIAC is in way over their heads vs the WIAC. This has been true for decades. Too big and too talented.

Objectively great year for Chapman though. Unbeaten in conference play, a conference title, and a road playoff win!

Panthers will have some big holes to fill in the offseason. The biggest will be in the HC office but also replacing Pacheco and Zimmerman on offense is no easy task. Hopefully the University Admin has been working and can get the coaching hire done quickly so they can hit the recruiting trail running.

Been a fun year! Looking forward to recruiting updates from all you insiders!

Wow...

WRF, compliments to the announcers on ESPN+...although homers they were objective, the way they handled the game is how all homers should handle it...class act

WRF, your QB is the real deal as you guys know. How he was able to play as if it was not snowing versus Chapman QB is pretty incredible. I don't know if Chapman had on the wrong shoes, or whatever. I have never seen the weather affect one team as much as it did Chapman, versus the RF. Can't throw four picks and win anything.

RF is the better team on a dry field, RF wins 10/10 times, just way better up front. It will be interesting to watch them moving forward in the tourney.

UWRF is a fashionable dark horse pick to win it all, and rightly so because of how good they are and how other results around them have gone to this point.

Playing in those conditions is hard enough without prior experience and the ability to practice/prepare in them. The end does nothing to diminish a fine season for Chapman!
