Watched the UR versus Cal Poly game Saturday, UR was one missed shot from going ahead with a little over a minute left. Great Effort by the DOGs, I am sure we could beat some Big West and WCAC teams. SLO save themselves from being embarrassed. I wonder if any local D1 will schedule UR next year, given how close last Saturday game was. We were not out classed, and it was not a fluke UR was right in it.

Nice set of wins for the Dogs on the road this weekend, over two top 20 teams. MBB has two big trips this season, Vegas next? I guess making the great 8 opens up the AD's checkbook.

Well, really a failure to go back and check strikes again.  Redlands had to get flown out if they were going to do three flights the first round.  Then they added a fourth to get UMHB out of Texas - and, had they gone back to check, could've made the bracket work with four flights, Redlands at home and CMS getting flown out elsewhere.

Matt Snyder noticed way after we'd all analyzed the bracket and I suspect the committee missed that possibility just like the rest of us.
