It's appropriate the death came by "hood" because didn't they hang Patrick Henry?  He was spared the firing squad if I remember correctly.

And this is what death looks like:

Patrick Henry's only played 8 games? Wow.

And one player, with the almost impossible line:

12 minutes
0 stats.

You're waching too many decent basketball games if you think its so hard.

If Patrick Henry were to book a game against Liberty College, the next time around they might choose death instead.

Isn't there a mortuary college somewhere called Death U?  Maybe a Death Valley College or something like that?

We could invite them to a tournament at Patrick Henry just for kicks.  We could get ESPN to at least mention it, I think.

Yeah!!  Patrick Henry, Liberty, and Death U.  And for the fourth team, we'll bring in ESPNU.  Oh, wait, that's not a university...

From the Scoreboard last night,

Lyndon State 89, Johnson State 70

Lyndon State (NAIA-2) is exploratory for 2005-06.

You're probably thinking of Nathan Hale, who did indeed end his days at the business end of a British hemp necktie after being captured as a spy. Patrick Henry died in his bed on his Virginia plantation in 1799 at the ripe old age of 63, probably from a heart attack after being beaten by Scottie Too Hottie in Jim Loesel's ODAC pick'em pool.

Actually - you really have to be a statue to not even get a turnover or a foul in 12 minutes, much less a rebound or shot attempt or assist.
