Why should you go for it on 4th down?

No damn discipline = 2 Dannie scores.  Sorry, but this has been the case all season and maybe the coaches need to exercise some responsibility.  Intensity is one thing / stupidity is another... JMHO

Had I not been occupied, I definitely would have wanted to see that Wooster comeback - led by Barnes, I guess?

Congrats to Denison for quietly amassing a 7-3 record. Not bad, Big Red.

Well, the news around the nation is that the calculus hasn't changed a bit, really, except we know the teams in the queue for sure (pending UW-O and UW-P).

Millsaps losing to Rhodes maybe knocks them into "C" land if the committee likes Texas Lutheran better (or Rhodes, who lost two games by four points, or Wash U.).

St. John Fisher crushed Alfred - an even worse beatdown than a Bell game.
Thomas More won convincingly.
IWU bested Elmhurst.
JCU is in "C" land.
St. John's lost to Bethel, and St. Thomas won as expected.

More on Wooster's remarkable win today and the amazing job the new coaching staff has done with about 2/3 of the team that went 2-8 last year later, but I still can't get over what OWU did to let Wooster back into the game. Leading 27-7 with about 13 minutes left in the game, the Bishops attempted a fake punt from their own 22 yard line on 4th and 12. Think about that. Leading by 20 points, in the 4th quarter, deep in your own territory, needing 12 yards, and you attempt a fake punt? Unless the players went rogue, this has to be one of the most reckless, and one might argue, arrogant play call you'll ever see. During the three drives of the third quarter, Wooster had amassed 69 yards on 21 plays and zero points. After the fake punt, the Scots ran 24 plays for 157 yards and three touchdowns.

I saw the 27-7 score and thought OWU was in control. Amazed Wooster won. I hope that video stream is archived somewhere.

If you're gonna throw me under the bus, at least do it where I posted it.

Unbelievable! This game ranks up there with any game I have ever seen, especially in the NCAC. Seeing people gradually coming back into an emptying stadium is a very rare sight. I bet there were students and fans back in their dorms and homes and at restaurants who came back.
Espinosa is a very good quarterback, but I will take my man Richard tweeting  Barnes. OWU scored no second half points. None. It looked like Barnes was trying to out quarterback Espinosa for much of the game. I mean just trying to be a passer. But he got over that finally and just did whatever it took to win. Great, great game.  Over 3000 in attendance.
And the bagpipes and hot dogs were as good as ever.
