Yes d3bd, the Centre/Trinity scores is 26-17

Eau Claire has gone up 20-14 on Stevens Point with just 28 seconds left.  The missed PAT is huge...could the Pointers escape with a one point win for the third week in a row?

This is unbelievable.  SP returns the kick to their own 39, but get 15 yards of gratuitous yardage thanks to a EC facemask.  48  yards from the end zone, 24 seconds to go....two complete passes.  Touchdown Stevens Point.  21-20 Pointers with six seconds to go.  Unfreakingbelievable.

St Point goes down the field in 22 second and scores and then kicks extra point to escape again by 1

Big Yeeouch!! Bishops went  to Earlham with a 13-1 record versus the Quakers.

Remember all of that losing that I said needed to happen for Wooster or Witt (scratch Witt now) to have a shot?  Well, some of that losing is happening today.

Nice......any assistance is very much appreciated ;D

OWU soph. QB Mike Fisher has been out the last 2 weeks due to medical reasons. Obviously, he has been done for the season.....The question is: Is his career over? It was known that Fisher had a medical since last year....Steve Hymes was needed back at QB....but....that just couldn't be worked out in the front office.

You guys remember our good buddy "Scotty?"  Now he's trolled his way to another message board (www.gridirondigest.com) and is still all over Wabash for the most recent tragedy on campus - the one that has absolutely ZERO to do with Wabash College football.  ???

He even talks in first person...very odd:  http://gridirondigest.net/index.php?showtopic=31342&st=20&start=20

Probably not worth the time to post that.

What a day of college football......all divisions.  Congrats to CC and his victory at Drake today too.  Nice win.

That Gametracker is nice.  How did it happen that the Trine Adrian game made the gametracker?

Congrats to the Scots for a well played game on Sat. It was good to see the offense and the defense in synch. Even a hardened Scots fan had to feel for RV Carroll and  Greg Mangan, neither would have played if it hadn't been Oberlin senior day. In a way it reminded one of an old John Wayne movie "They were expendable" both gave gutty performances for their team in a losing cause. :-[
Now just a couple of casual observations. First, it was nice to finally be at a stadium that made Papp stadium look like a super bowl venue, It was easy to say yes to another slice of pizza due to the fact I knew I would walk off the calories on the ¼ mile round trip hike to the bath room. Second, I have to say WOW the Oberlin PA announcer was brutal to listen to, I spent the entire game trying to decide if my 2nd grade English teacher had come back from the dead to torture me for not paying more attention during the chapter on proper syllabication. Or if Oberlin had found a way to channel Mr. Ed's voice from beyond the grave and if they had why was he on so much Prozac or Riddlen. :o
Hey Flag lady you could have taken out that granola munching, tree hugging, Birkenstock wearing kid who said you couldn't carry the flag on the track after scores. ;)

Probably looks like Wabash is a #3 in the North unless Mt. Union gets moved East. Though they may pull a South team up East as well. At any rate, it looks that 'Bash will be on the road if they make the final 8. Alas.

Keeping the North as the North only, playoff seeds look like this:

1. Mt. Union
2. North Central
3. Wabash
4. Trine
5. Case
6. Franklin
7. Otterbein
8. Aurora

However, instead of moving Mt. Union East, they could pull Case East to fill in the East bracket. The East has a legit #1 in Cortland. The South has Millsaps AND Muhlenberg, and the West has Willamette so there's no need to move the Mount or Wabash to balance brackets.

Actually, I bet Muhlenberg moves East. Allentown is "south" in D3 but fairly East to the rest of us!

Little Giants.......Monon Bell discussion on "General Football" - 115th Monon Bell..........it is on!

Key to the game...my opinion...can we run the football vs the DePauw D?  Let's keep the Spud-man off the field and pound it all afternoon.

The Cortaca Bowl is of great interest this year for the North.  IF Ithaca wins, I predict MUC goes East, freeing the path to the semi's for NCC, Wabash, et.al.

Sounds like the weather will be conducive to a strong running game.

The next question will be can we defend the DePauw short passing game well?  Lots of short passes with emphasis on yards after the catch.  If we're too soft on the corners they will dink and dunk all day.  Maybe rush fewer and drop more guys back to protect the middle?  Their running game isn't as strong this year, so that may be a viable option.
