Quote from: WIACer on Yesterday at 08:47:34 PMWatched UWO vs UWRF. Ashiro is good. Solid, athletic, tough to bring down and extends plays. Uwrf d looked a little less in attack mode. He made some big plays big throws. Uwrf d ok. Gave up some big plays. Injuries?? Uwrf O. Basic. Lot of qb runs. Qb change gave them a win. Otherwise problem is everyone in stands knows they are running or throwing. Assuming osh does too. Looks like a number of years ago when head coach was o coordinator. They are going to have to improve that. Even the o players look confused and not sure. National champs gonna need to improve. UWO. Is knocking someone off. Uwp, uww. One

I'm confused and must be missing something.  Doesn't everyone in the stands know that the offense is either going to run or pass regardless of whether they've changed quarterbacks?

Quote from: AndrewB on Today at 04:50:04 AMWent to the Whitewater vs La Crosse game this weekend.  It makes me appreciate how Platteville runs game days.  Absolutely packed house.  It was completely full on the La Crosse side.  Whitewater didn't travel as well as I thought they would.  Started watching and number 4 was the quarterback.  Went, that's Cole Warren's number.  Give coach Rindahl a ton of credit.  Klinkner was his guy, but he still made the change after a big win.  He throws a really nice ball, only problem was some of the passes over the middle just put his receivers in harm's way.  Both teams struggled to run the ball.
I have to say the attendance to all these WIAC conference games has been outstanding.  Every Stadium this weekend had a full house. La Crosse, River Falls, Platteville and even Point.  I think having these beer gardens is making a positive difference.  Also helps to be 80 and sunny in October.  Had to laugh, during the game 2 plays were reviewed.  During the second review, these young guys yell, "What do you think this is, the SEC?"  THE SEC of D3, yes, yes it is.  ;D

I stumbled onto WIAC Network late yesterday afternoon and watched the last say 5 minutes plus OT of the Oshkosh at RF game.  So many replays, Heather was irate about the time wasted watching the refs run across the track to the replay "booth" and back.  Probably got most calls wrong.  I watched Georgia/Alabama last night and saw more poor officiating.  SEC or WIAC, same ****, different shovel.

Platteville wins it's Homecoming game 38-0 over Eau Claire. Platteville QB Nathan Uselding was 30 for 33. 4 TD passes and one rushing TD. Platteville's defense which looked suspect last week against Stout held Eau Claire to under 200 yards total offense. The WIAC grind continues next week when River Falls visits Platteville.

I am not going to predict the winner right now, but I promise you one thing: River Falls at Platteville is going to be one PHYSICAL game! There will be some hitting in that one. Enjoy, and no injuries!!
