Bleed, didn't Ceniti play nearly the entire game vs. St John's? I was traveling the last two Saturdays so I wasn't able to watch/listen as closely as I would have liked.
I realize your emphasis is on "starting".

Ogden played 5 plays before Ceniti entered.  Ceniti scored two plays later at 11:58.

Either way, from what I've been able to see, Ceniti is not only a really good athlete, he's a tough kid and the kind that makes for an excellent leader.

If UWW can continue to improve, and run an offense less predictable than the past recent years, all the props will come when it matters most.

He absolutely did. But, still this is his first time preparing as "the guy" with the other team having film knowing he's "the guy". So, yes, while he did gain valuable experience last week, this was his first start (as you mentioned, my emphasis).

I just thought his accomplishment was noteworthy. That's all I was trying to get at.

I saw pre-snap motion last Saturday by UWW and thought Emma was somewhere smiling.

Couldn't have been more excited. I was able to see the first drive. I don't know for sure, but I get the feeling the OC is easing into it game by game. I can imagine it's no easy mental task to balance down/distance, personnel package, play and then add shifting and motion.

We will be in Madison the weekend of the Iowa game (Oct 13-15.) I've been checking ticket prices but they're outrageous. If anyone knows of someone looking to sell a couple at a reasonable price let me know.
Another option is a suggestions for a good watering hole that won't be packed...State Street Brats is wonderful and all but I can only imagine how packed places like that get on Hawkeye game day.
Thanks

Go to River Falls instead and watch UWW/UWRF. Cheaper and a better football game.

Well...my daughter doesn't attend either of those schools.

I guess that's reasonable.

What part of town if you don't buy tickets? And what are you hoping to spend if you did get tickets?

Many places in Madison offer shuttle service to Badger football games. Liberty Station, The Edgewater and the Great Dane Brew Pub to name a few. Sometimes people with extra tickets will try to sell them at the bar. If not these places tend to clear out when the game starts so you can enjoy the game and food and drink.

We're staying in Middleton but will probably head downtown as our daughter is a student. Our other kid was a Hawkeye. Originally we picked the weekend because we thought maybe she would join us...but it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
I'd like be around $75 per ticket but that might be foolish of me.
Turns out some good friends will be visiting their daughter as well and don't plan on attending the game so watching at a bar with them might be a good time.
I'd rather not be at a crowded place on State Street...maybe someplace up past the capitol.

What happened to Joel Dettweiler? Tried looking up but all the articles are paywalled.

I don't see a scenario this weekend that has UWO beating UWW. I think the Warhawks strengths lineup with UWO's weaknesses. UWO does have some big play WR's and if they can get a few big plays, they might keep it closer than expected. Overall, I see UWW cruising to a win while rushing for 200+ yds and holding UWO to 14 pts.

I think he is doing financial planning in the LaCrosse area.

Something tells me that oshkosh is the "couldn't start at whitewater" team because Makaio Harn transfered there and clearly he wasn't good enough to get all the snaps at whitewater. Could be wrong.

I think from a team strength standpoint UWW should win. The concern w these conference games is the great familiarity each team has with each other as well as the rivalry. UWO in particular is not a team that should lack confidence in their ability to hang with/and beat UWW.

All that said, I'm hoping for a real shellacking of the Titans tomorrow.

I also think UWP might put up a tougher than expected fight against UWRF.
