With Anna Maria folding up shop there are a bunch of MASCAC schools needing a game, but with the Cru already travelling to both coasts they'd have to come to Belton. 

And lose 65-0

I don't know about that. Framingham St or Plymouth St would probably make a more respectable showing, but I doubt they'd be interested in paying for a trip to Texas unless literally nobody in or around their region has an open date.

Would UMHB split travel & lodging with the team for a 1- yr contract?

In the last 3 seasons the only out of state programs that have been willing to pay for travel to Belton have been:

UW Whitewater (no longer willing to pay)
Bethel TN (NAIA)

That's it, that is the entire list. Haha

Meanwhile we have travelled across the country multiple times a season. My guess is getting one more D3 opponent to come to Belton will be the biggest hurdle yet and if we can we will fill that last spot with NAIA or D2. In which case I'd be very happy considering we'd be at 9 D3 games.
