Quick, late thoughts on the ONU game.

Someone mentioned earlier and I agree, the corners are the best Mount has had in a while.  Kosta has been excellent opposite Liebler.

Minner has given them a nice spark in his increased carries with Thomas out.  It's nice to have quality depth to hopefully keep legs fresh for the playoffs.  Weaver has also looked solid in his limited touches.

I'll echo what fanboy said, the drops have to stop.  That's a potential back breaker in a playoff game.

I was impressed with Blasiole from ONU.  He runs hard and is a PITA to get down with his build.

I thought overall the D played well.  Feldman did misfire on at least two deep balls where he had guys open though.

Final thought is that I'm very thankful for Maloney.  He's already really good and he's just getting started.  Knowing you've got a dude at QB is so much fun.

Minner might be the guy by the time the playoffs hit.  He looked like a future star last year in limited time, and has definitely improved this year.  That little three RB backfield formation Mount runs some will be pretty nice with Minner, Williams, Thomas, Maloney and those two TE.  Gonna be tough to defend in short yardage/red zone

Maloney isn't going anywhere, but in the extremely rare chance that he gets poached.  Mount picked up a "commitment" from a 1st team all-state PA QB that looks like the heir apparent to MM.  6-2/200ish 4000 yards last year as a jr, should replicate those numbers/accolades this year.

The thing I love the most about having a QB that's a threat to pull it and run is all the looks they can give defenses with the fakes, designed runs, etc. that loosen everything up.  It's been said multiple times by multiple people that the lack of running threat by the QB has been a negative.  I think this year so far confirms that thinking.
