Wow. This game is crazy. I thought JCU had it won there...

Once they got close, i wonder if it would have been smarter for JCU just to line it up, and kick the fg instead of trying to get the TD not using all their downs

Seriously. Offensive mind? Get rid of him.

Wow.... why not kick there and live to fight another day?

Sad state of affairs. Clean house.

Saves them getting rolled by North Central. Coaching is a joke. JCU knew that Brain Fart would run Maloney. Leave now. Just go.

We all know where GD will be sitting next Thanksgiving, with the kids at the card table on a folding chair.
Why break a six year tradition now?

I am NOT here to gloat, but WOW! I want to say great game, but you all will say otherwise.

You all remain a standard bearer of D3, so do not forget that. It was a necessary litmus test, and I am still in SHOCK that we did it.

I thought when we missed that first FG, that it was over. Once CANNOT give Mount those chances. Hats off to you all.

I am going to go take my wife and kids to Christmas stuff to celebrate. Still not looking forward to our next eventual meeting.

I think it made sense to go for it.  They had higher changes of winning by converting there, instead of just kicking the field goal and letting it go to 3 OT.  OT after 2 is just two point tries, which I think is just all luck. While if they had converted they would have had 4 chances to get that winning TD from the 2

Clean house. Fire GD today. The talent on this team is capable of winning it all. This is coaching. Ballard said that LK got more out of his players because of coaching and that was how they beat more talented Rowan teams again and again. GD is getting less out of his players. Period.

D1 has Big Game James. D3 has Little F Geoff. If he and his staff had any dignity, they would all resign.

Hats off to Mounts defense... They played great and stepped up when they needed to. Of course I wish the team went further and could win another championship, but only one team holds the trophy at the end of the season. The offense just didn't have enough open lanes to make the usual big plays once getting to the 40 yard line. I'm surprised Mount didn't try to get plays outside of the tackles more often.

Good luck JCU.... Still don't like you

I accept your good luck, and still not a fan of you. Respect? Yes. Like? Nope!

Can we admit the Dartt experiment didn't work? Congrats  to JCU.  But what a poor effort from a half of Mount Union today

D3 Poster

Entertaining game.  JCU's advantages:
   D1 transfers better than Mount's D3 transfers
Defenses overall pretty even, but trusted JCU's secondary more
   Offense play calling
   Poise
   Field goal kicking, barely  8-)
