3rd and 19 from their half yard line?  No problem. Just toss a 22 yard pass!

Doesn't look like a typical mount team. Ugly so far.

The Mount defense is very average for D3 as a whole.   Let alone what we're used to seeing at Mount.   Yikes.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Hey,  at least I as the color guy I had a touch more energy than the Hobart guy.   Got to wonder if he's breathing.

There's a color guy???

Right!?

That's what I've been saying all season but no one wanted to believe it.   This is Mount circa early 1980's.

I notice they rush 3 a lot.  Seemed they blitzed with a little more success in the first quarter. (bringing 5 and stunting more)

You don't seem to have a whole lot of confidence in the VK era, sir.  Or am I reading too much between the lines?

"Average" Mount team at best.  Little pressure on the QB, d-backs can't make a play when needed.  QB is just "ok", and no real difference maker on offense.

They certainly can win this game, but I really don't like their chances to move much further along in the playoffs.  Although, it wouldn't surprise me if Hobart won this game.

It's not a VK thing, it's a "Jimmy & Joe" thing in my opinion.

I thought the 2013 was an anomaly.  Sadly the 2016 D may be as bad.  I like Dear and Robinson.  I think they'd be fine if they had normal Raider defenders in front of and behind them.  They don't.  Not even close.

This is as passive a mount defense as I have ever seen. No rush to speak of to cover for an inexperienced  pass defense. You may as well rush the passer to force him to throw before he wants to.  Cant believe that by playoff time we cant come up with an answer.

I'd say the QB has been better than "ok" today.  10-15, 218, TD and zero TO?  I'll take that half of football from him every week.  I'm far more concerned by the D.

Yah, after further review you make a good point Doc.  I just don't get that "electric" feel from him, but he is only a freshman.  He's doing a pretty darn good job.  I just can't believe we can't find a difference maker at RB, and on the d-line.  I am spoiled I know.

JCU 31-6, scored on their first drive of the second half.  Moeglin dropped a perfect pass to James for a score.  Failed 2 point.

Stick a fork in this one.

Sounds like they're hitting their stride, Toph.
