Does anybody know what happened to Mounts media/social networking team(s)? I mean the highlights are normally up w/in 24 hours of a game. It is now Tuesday and I haven't seen anything yet. In addition I was trying to check the App during the game and noticed it still has last years results. Mount always seemed to pride itself on fan engagement and their social media presence. Have they moved away from the Front Row app?

BTW a big shoutout to 4 Purple Raider parents(?). No idea who they are, or even if they are parents, but they were clad in purple, and 2 had purple shoes, at the Otterbein game. I completely forgot about online tickets, so I went to the ticket window which was closed. My buddy followed these 4 ladies since they were coming past the ticket window and entered the press box door. I followed and we walked by a few Ott coaches, the club room (looked like the HoF inductees and families were inside), took a left and found ourselves at the concession stand. So we got in free just by following the crowd. We were talking about it and I thought that maybe they had a pass for parents or something. Anyway - thanks.

Mount Union uses a different website vendor and no longer supports the Front Row app.

Thanks Pat. That is too bad - Front Row was pretty convenient.

QuoteRuby did not play in Mount's last game Oct. 29 but don't expect Ruby to miss the game against the Blue Streaks.

"We anticipate having all guys on offense and defense out there," said Dartt.

 I hope I run into LK before the JCU game. I'll ask him to put a word in with the HC to run up the score on JCU if they get the chance. I remember they did that to us. Only once, but they gloated after. Revenge is a dish best tasted cold. JCU hasn't seen anything like the speed of Mount Union, not to mention another great quarterback. It just might be a massacre.

I hate to break it to you but Mount has most certainly paid back JCU for running up the score. The only score I could see where JCU won that could even come close to being considered a blowout was 1989 31-7.

In 2005, Mount won 70-0... pretty sure that covers it lol.

We also won 55-3 (2004) 53-0 (2007) ... okay like 3 or 4 other 50+ to single score games

  Yes that 31-7 game. It was in Cleveland. They had a great QB, our star running back was on crutches. The memory of it is painful to recall. It has haunted me. I remember the Hail Mary into our end zone, the ball weaving its way into the hands of a JCU receiver for the winning score. It was a black day for the Purples. No we have not repaid them in full. Let Saturday be a day to exorcize these demons.

Funny hearing the team that holds a 34-3-2 advantage talk about exorcising demons lol

As for the game, I sadly think Mount will win. I think it will be respectable (within 3 possessions, which is respectable against Mount!), but I'm having a really hard time believing the team that lost to Washington and Jefferson will all the sudden be able to win this game, even if John Carroll has improved since the first game. This is not like 2016 where John Carroll lost the opener to the eventual runner up.

After this, I don't suspect Mount will see another real challenge till at least the quarterfinals.

I'm not sure if this is widely known, but Coach Paul's (ONU) wife is currently battling cancer.  He posted this on Twitter today:

@coachDeanPaul
My wife Tonya continues to inspire us as she battles breast cancer. As she finished the 2nd round of chemo, our son Bryce shaved his head in support. Several teammates joined the cause. These funny guys asked me if I wanted to participate. Love our players. #BetterDaysAhead

I don't think Mount owes JCU payback for anything.  But Mount's playoffs start tomorrow and the Raiders need to make a statement.  Hopefully with a "rivalry"game they can avoid taking the foot off of the gas that has happened with lesser opponents
