Wow 11! Where do I sign up? That scoreboard intro was FANtastic! It made the cathair on the back of my neck stand up. ;D
Good job as always. Thanks for posting it.

11 you need to put a warning along with your opening clip.  Something like-- By watching this clip you understand that you will have the sudden urge to hit someone  !!  In fact I am sure that right now Coco is over at the catdome running some dakine gassers getting ready for next season !!

Every time I see the video of the 2005 game with the WARHAWKS I can vividly recall the roller coaster emotions of those of us listening to the radio broadcast.  It's almost like I can feel them all over again.  Only this time with the contentment of knowing the outcome.  You have a great site there Wildcat.  I enjoy your videos and I'm not even a Linfield guy.  Though the videos and our games between each other have given me a respect for your program.  You look to have a very solid group returning next year.  I hope we can hold up our end and the two programs meet again for round three.

Appreciate the feedback!  Lots of good clips ahead this season that I know you'll enjoy.

badger,

I know that UWW will have no issues with holding their end up...it's a stacked program but you know that. ;) Linfield has some big players to replace but I think we're going to be pretty decent in 2010.

Tremendous work, 11. It's been crazy out here in the midwest, have yet to finish viewing your 2009 dvd. Maybe in 2010, the Warhawks could make another trip to the friendly Catdome for the postseason?

Hmm.  Interesting stuff at PLU.  Wasn't Westering calling the plays last year?

Just saw on another message board that March 11th is an important date regarding Southern  Oregon's possible move to Division 2 status. Assuming that's approved, what impact, if any,  that would have on Linfield College? Would there be a few quality players available who would fall just shy of being offered a Raiders D2 scholarship, and be interested in playing for a D3 national title contender in the future?

S.C.,

I think the impact is minimum on the other NWC schools.  SOU has been able to provide scholarships for years because of their NAIA status and that won't change if they move to DII.  IMO, SOU has to make the move if they want football to survive.

Also, I think Linfield/Willamette/PLU/etc have a very small crossover with SOU with regard to who they are recruiting.  Grades and SAT's are more of the barrier than NCAA affiliation.

Wildcat11:
I loved the jams and the Menlo video. When are the Oaks going to to get some decent facilities? The last time I was there the players/fans had to use a porta potty.  :-\

Southern Oregon had a press conference today to announced their future and............................they are staying in the NAIA while trying to increase funding over the next 5 years for a possible jump to DII.  The bottom line is that they don't have the cash to move everything to DII to just get hammered and for the sake of football.

The scary part for SOU football was this:

IV. SOU is committed to football for the 2010 season. Evaluation of the viability of the program
by SOU administration will commence after the 2010 season dependent primarily on
opportunities for inclusion in a conference.

Pretty much SOU football is going to try to make a push to the Frontier again...if they can't get in I can see SOU pulling the plug on football.

I guess the Linfield decision to drop SOU wasn't such a bad idea after all then...

Why has the Frontier Conference rejected SOU in the past, was the additional travel costs a factor for the other conference schools? If SOU did terminate football, I guess there would be a marginal impact on the NWC. Looking at the current SOU roster, there are roughly 20 players from central and northwest Oregon. I'm assuming future players would consider the NWC along with Eastern Oregon if they wanted to stay in the state, if SOU pulled the plug on football.
