Just rumor.  CLU and Linfield will discontinue their regular season series for now so Linfield is in the market to fill 2 non-conference games next year.

Now they don't have to play each other twice a year and in the 1st round.

If that's true-props to them for not being afraid to schedule tough non-conf. opponents. North Central would have like to keep playing UR, but the cost was just too high.

Yeah it would be pretty cool....and maybe a team from the South for the other opening...have the Cats ever played in Louisiana?  That would be cool.....

I wonder who CLU would play?  Stick with PLU and try and find someone else?  I would think they would try and stick with someone in the NWC due to cost but I think it would be better to go with a school from the MIAC/Texas/WIAC.

CLU played a home and home set with Willamette from 2006-2009.  In fact, Willamette hasn't had a game against any of the SCIAC schools since 2009.
