The mock bracket is up on d3football.com. I like that St John's wouldn't have to face North Central or Mount Union until the Stagg Bowl. Obviously one game at a time. I like the bye week to have additional time for rest, healing, & preparation & would rather face Whitewater in Collegeville than on the road. Then looks like would have to travel down to Waverly, IA, to face Wartburg if we were still alive.

If the past is any indication, the real bracket will have some major deviations from d3's.

A tradition unrivaled...

Duff is right, this mock will be a good deal different from the real one, except that the Top 8 seeds are locked and must be built around as we see them in the D3 version.

This should give them every opportunity to build a truly national championship bracket.

Logan Hansen's mock bracket has Whitewater traveling to Collegeville in the second round. Then, if we could get past Whitewater, we'd most likely face River Falls on the road.

Is it 4:00 tomorrow yet? As VOJ would say, "Goodnight, everybody!"

I would be up early to watch those games. This year has not done well at pulling me out of bed at 0 dark thirty.

Seems likely BU would have to go through NCC and UMU..unless they both hilariously lost before those matchups (a guy can dream)

Final MIAC Standings

1. Bethel
2. St. John's
3. Concordia
4. Carleton
5. Gustavus
6. Augsburg
7. St. Olaf
8. St. Scholastica
9. Macalester
10. Hamline

The front page on the MIAC website has them listed alphabetically, which is misleading because of head to head results.

Hamline's 1 win? First time UMAC winners Crown by a count of 28-21 in their season opener, last team into the playoff field.

In case anybody was wondering how wide the gap is between the MIAC and UMAC, well, there it is.
Bethel Royals on to victory as we proudly sing your name, HEY HEY HEY!

Technically Crown wasn't the last team in since they earned an auto bid, they've just got the lowest NPI. I think Crown is probably one of the weaker UMAC champs in recent years, which is saying something. It'll be interesting to see where they get sent Rd 1. Their line play in particular is really bad. To your point Chubbs, it's hard to fathom Hamline in a playoff game.

I also think the MIAC might be better than it's been given credit for. GAC played a competitive game at the start of the season at Whitworth. NWC might be down, but GAC had 300 yds of offense to WW's 360. They went unbeaten in the NWC. The next week  a very young Bethel team went into St Peter and won 41-10, out gaining GAC 528-141. My brother pointed out that Carleton, Concordia, and GAC might not be as down as we thought. It could be that SJU and BU are that good. We will find out more in the weeks ahead.

Good draw for the Johnnies!  Wonder if the Roush will be making an appearance.

I don't love UWRF after that, but...

As expected, pain on the left side of the bracket with BU in the quadrant with NCC and then a likely semifinal matchup with UMU if they get there.

Honestly I think Bethel can take Mount Union well, which speaks both to Bethel's growth and UMU maybe being a little underwhelming compared to usual this year. I just hope they get the chance.

Bethel only allowed 65 points all season...that's gotta be their best ever right?

Trying to find some way to confirm with historical data, NCAA stats site doesn't seem to have that easy to find if at all, if anyone has tips where it could be scrounged up.

If RF wins first game and SJU topples Monmouth, it's Johnies at Falcons.
